The comfort in these cars is really phenomenal, the seats, omg you dont want to leave the car. There is nothing like it. Buy an Audi, a BMW and take a long trip, you are tired, have bodyaches, but in the S80 you just keep on cruising.

Had mine nearly 3yrs now, a 2.4. Diesel 163bhp, 2003 reg. The best car I've ever owned, so comfortable. And very economical around town. You would feel safe in a car crash in one of these there that well built. And much faster than they look! I've left a few BMWs, Audis etc dead at the lights before, these beast's have great pulling power! There not just great executive cars, they got the capability to keep up with some of the top of the range modern cars of today

Now everything is fine and had no issues since then. I would buy the same car if this has his job done. And the safety is almost as good as in modern cars. what you can do is do a flush, it prevents damage by removing the iron particles and restoring the cooling function of the transmission fluid. I bought one too last week, I have fun with it, but I dont plan on keeping it for longer than a year. The GM transmission is only rated for 200 hp, not the 272 what we have, But it is so much fun. I have never experienced that. I live very close to Germany and yesterday I went to Cologne and the max speed I got was 230 briefly because the road was not very good and it was windy. But cruising at 190 kph is unbelievably smooth and easy. So much fun.

One of the most comfortable seats I've ever sat on. I've driven a 1200km trip in a day on those leather seats without any back pain which is unusual to me. Quite easy cars to work on and parts are easily available. For some reason a S60 and V70 have more demand are most of the time you will get these S80's at a very low price. It's the seal on the brake booster that's gone. The sound you hear is the air escaping. The 'correct' thing to do is to deplace the booster but it's buried and is a very expensive job. You can buy the seal and replace it from within the car footwell. Search youtube for S80 brake booster seal.

It has so many problems I was able to pinpoint every last one of my problems just off of other people who have bought the same car and experienced the same exact issues. There's also no such thing as a repair that will actually be worth repairing on the car. Because Volvo themselves were trying to out Audi Audi and using all kinds of technology that was useless and faulty. So if I were to fix these issues I would have to go with OEM Parts which were faulty also so there would be no point in fixing something for it to break. And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter. And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him. And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him. Those that everyechanic runs away from...like Saab, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Citroen...etc. Volvo is simple , efective and reliable engineering. New volvos are a bit of a dog and don't compare to old ones. But still i repaired worst cars like BMW and Audi's . Those are really some engineering nightmares.
