Well produced, quality video, you spend some time on this one and it paid off. You captured the feeling of what we were doing at the Charlie Brown sale with some behind the scenes negotiations that we sometimes do before approaching the seller. You had your pricing down and it came in handy twice at this one sale. Good job son.
I'm a fan of the recap with screenshots of what the items go for. Have seen it on other channels and think it would be good to incorporate into your videos from time to time, possibly all of the time if it's easier than your normal outro. Great pickups, thanks for sharing!
I like the new outro good music and man your videos make me feel like a fiend because all I want to do is go out to sales! Great scores man and I would put those chairs a little higher than what you were thinking probably around 170 for the lounge and 80 on the sitter maybe even more because they are a bit more rare with that double bar thing going on, lol that's just my opinion though and clearly you know what your doing. Just a little tip on the shipping also what I do is check in with my local bike shops and they give me their bike boxes for free so I use those for all my large items and you can even ship through shipbikes.com. the most I've paid to ship a 82lbs. Box 38×13×60 is $80 but usually when they are only 45lbs. And under it's around $45 to $60
Woo, that last lady was a wheeler dealer! She was screaming RETAIL prices! lol 😂 Your production of the video with comps/solids really made it exciting all the way thru! Awesome job! ❤️
Really like the new outtro! Super helpful. Surprised you passed on Cool World boxed for I think he said $10? Maybe I misheard? That's an uncommon SNES game - at least $75 boxed and complete.
Use your awkwardness as an advantage. After you make an offer don't say anything, or be real short. This makes everything awkward. Most of the time people will eventually give In. It works for me. Obviously don't be a pretentious dick, but people will take your awkwardness as indecision and that turns it back on them.
Awesome buy's Matt... You hit a sweet honey hole with all the killer Nintendo games and Pokemon game controller... NAILED IT!!! Well done... Stay safe...👍💕🔥⚾😷✌
Hey Matt, loved how you ended this video with the recaps of the items you purchased and what you are asking for them. I always wonder how people come up with their listing price besides comps. Do you do 3x the money? How do you calculate your asking price? Also, what is better or less expensive for a seller, to list items for auction or list with a specific price? Is it better to get offers or not? Thanks Matt🙃
I've never seen such awesome sales in my re-selling life. Even though that has only been 6 months, lol! Really digging the new price breakdown as well!
Love the ending recap/montage summing up the sales kinda like Thrift mine and others. You always picking up dope stuff for the steal :) Big ups to you Matt from another Bay Area reseller
Matt, the sources you have are amazing!! Never find such good stuff or prices here. I'm so jelly. lol. I love the new outro with the recap and the music. Great stuff... keep up the good work!
Dude! Crushing like always! Too bad you missed out on the Dreamcast games that one dude had in his hand. I saw Skies of Arcadia which is a great one. I wonder what else he was holding...
Maybe I'm accustomed to the slow talking south (I live in Texas), but it really felt like these guys at the house with the nativity seemed like they were on methODOLOGY or speedY GONZALES enhancements.
The dealer who wanted to sell you the Charlie Brown ornaments was driving me crazy!! She wouldn't stop talking! You are a much nicer, more patient person than I!
My sons, now ages 25 and 27 LOVED Rescue Heroes when they were little. They played with them all the time and we had loads of them. Rocky Canyon had a motorcycle, I believe. Anyway, I predict that they will be worth something in about 10 years from now when that age of people get a little older and have some money to spend on recapturing their childhoods.
So you make $110 on the chairs and the Charlie's. Wow so you have to shell out $90 to make $110. I don't know. And that's if they sell. I feel like you'd have to have an awful lot of extra cash to spend on stuff that you might not be able to sell. I can't do it.
When you here "there individually marked" there's no point cause they either priced them to high or borderline what you could get for them. From a former collector.
What do you do for buyers who want to return untested/as is products. They are buying these untested products hoping it works and if it doesn’t they just return it and I lose money paying the return shipping. How do I stop letting them return these.
