@@Rimrock300 Hello. Yes, that was the case with this vehicle. Petrol and automatic transmission. This Car also had a reduction gear installed - the maximum speed was then approx. 80 km/h. At that time we also had the Puch Pinzgauer 4x4 or 6x6, it was a petrol engine with a displacement of 2.5L, air-cooled and with manual transmission.

Micheal the Mercedes Military spec g 6x6 has the six cylinder turbo diesel there is a fun canvas top option or the more you AMG G 6x6 AMG V8 twin turbo charged the v12 twin turbo was optional but few like a G65 got the 12, Good luck.kind Regards

I liked this version of the G wagon. It’s really unique. Different. You never see this version here in LA. Never. It’s a good fun vehicle. Go out to the beach with it car. I think the price is too high though. Maybe more like $100,000 like what Michael first said. I can definitely see Adam driving this. His look suits this. More.

G-Wagons are certainly an acquired taste, even brand new fully equipped ones. Good decision to pass on the old rebuild in my books. Clearly I haven't acquired the G-Wagon taste but for those who have... enjoy.

There is another company in new york that customises these old army G wagons in different seating configurations . In germany they sell for 20k euro unrestored and there are thousands of them .I agree ultra cool
