Alone with you in the Eather is definitely one of the most fabulous books I’ve read recently. It’s messy, the characters are flawed and make wrong decisions, but at the same time it’s a book that portraits raw love and the acceptance of imperfection. It’s been 5 months since I’ve read it and it still leaves me feeling the feelings. You only have to know that one of the book’s main topics is mental health issues, it’s just important in case you don’t feel like reading it.

I think, like Emily Henry's books, it feels like something more is happening that just the romance. Also, you can't say you have a Happy Place vlog sitting in the wings and not expect someone to ask for it...I could never be bored watching you talk about an EH book! A thriller I haven't read yet but am so excited to read is The Last Word by Taylor Adams. :)

I got to read American Mermaid as an ARC through my job and wow was it so good! The one thing I will say is that it gets a little tiring jumping from the fictional book blurbs back to the main story but other than that the way Julia Langbein is able to fit two stories into one and have it be so interesting and gripping is super impressive. Also, just the way she writes is so beautiful and relateable.
