Steeplechases are actually banned in Australia, I understand why and in Australia I think more people try to do safer racing, there’s also another pretty famous race horse but not really named “Prince of Penzance” Who helped Michelle Payne become the first female to win the Melbourne cup in 2015. Prince of Penzance is a New Zealand bred thoroughbred. Love your vids btw

I have three suggestions: Symboli Rudolf - (March 13, 1981 - October 4, 2011) He was a Japanese thoroughbred racehorse who won the Japanese Triple Crown. Symboli Rudolf was inducted into the Japan Racing Association Hall of Fame in 1987. Silence Suzuka - (May 1, 1994 - November 1, 1998) He was a Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse who won the Grade I Takarazuka Kinen in 1998. In the same year, his career and life were cut short by an injury suffered during the running of the 1998 Tenno Sho. Bal a Bali - (foaled September 22, 2010) He is a Brazilian-bred Thoroughbred racehorse that won the Brazilian Triple Crown in 2014. He was named the Brazilian Horse of the Year of 2013/2014, having won all eight starts that year with several track records to his credit.

I play on console and bought the Phar Lap game sometime after I started watching your Rival Stars videos. I reinstalled the game not too long ago, inspired by your previous Famous racehorses video, and created my own Ruffian. I would hope that the console version had more options, markings etc in the horse creator, and had some other features from the desktop version as well. Like breeding the custom created horses. Either way, I still enjoy it for what it has to offer. In your previous video as we watched your Ruffian race, she left from starting gate 1, which was also her number in the match race against Foolish Pleasure.

Zenyatta literally made me tear up every time I watched her run. I was lucky enough to see her run in person in the Apple Blossom at Oaklawn in Hot Springs, Ar. She's amazing. If you do another I suggest these mares: Rachel Alexandra, Rags to Riches, Goldikova, Beholder, Something Royal (Secretariat's Mom), and Songbird.

Some other fun facts about Zenyatta. She is the first, and currently only, female racehorse to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Which she won in 2009 and nearly won in 2010 but lost by a head to a horse named Blame. That was her final race of her career, and the only one she lost. That beautiful chestnut foal is actually her 2020 Candy Ride filly named Zilkha, she is currently 2yrs old and has just started training with trainer John Sheriffs at the racetrack.

I'm Aussie, love Phar lap I believe he's a aus-nz horse and I reckon it was a sudden change in feed that could have has harsh chemicals as lots of feed mils back then didn't clean out then so a mix of feed like dog feed or cattle could have been the problem

I think these are amazing!! Maybe you could do Prince of Penzance? He won the 2015 Melbourne Cup, ridden by Michelle Payne who became the first female jockey to win the race. His sire is Pentire (a British Thoroughbred, according to Google) and his dam is Royal Successor (a thoroughbred from America). Despite his father being from Britain and his mother being from America, Penzance is actually a New Zealand-bred thoroughbred born on November 20th, 2009. He's featured in 'Ride Like a Girl', an Australian movie based on Michelle Payne's story on becoming the first woman to win the Melbourne Cup (this movie can get pretty sad). He's currently 12yo and based in Ballart, if I'm correct. If you need more information, I'm sure Google would be able to give you more information :D

I think you sadly didn´t choose the best colors for some horses, I would have chosen some others which fit much better in my opinion. Those “masks” are called blinkers. They are a type of racing equipment. Basically they are a fabric hood that goes over the horse’s head and they have little plastic cups on them. There’s different kinds with different sized cups. There’s even full cup blinkers, and Plexiglass. Basically what they do is they keep horse’s focused and looking forward during races. They can also be used on horses if a trainer is trying to get more speed out of a horse at the start of a race.

Winx is an am amazing Australian racehorse who won 33 consecutive races. Chautauqua was another great Australian sprinter who one 6 group ones and when he was at his peak he was the best sprinter in the world.

Could you do the Godolphin Arabian he was one of the three stallions that founded the modern thoroughbred. In book I read about him. He was described as a horse that that always likes to run ahead of the others. He also has a sad back story and if the book is correct it said he was an ancestor of Man O' War

Can you please do Shegar! I really want you too as I'm in Ireland and was born here and he is the most popular race horse from Ireland I know! He was a beautiful horse and won many races in 1981 I'm pretty sure. He was kidnapped by a gang and we still don't know if he is dead or not but the gang wanted 2 million euro in return for him. But supposedly he was already dead and we found out he was injured when getting kidnapped and was injured and he was a stud, the gang obviously didn't know how to take care of a horse let a lone a stallion so when putting him in the trailer he paniced and injured himself and they didn't know what to do so they shot him dead. You should definitely do more research just to make sure I got everything right! But I would LOVE for you todo this god of a horse! 💛💚💙💜

Hey, I just got to thinking. For part 3 maybe consider Eight Belles. She was this dark grey filly who also has a really sad ending to her story. She came second in the 2008 Kentucky Derby. Right after the race she broke both of her front ankles and was euthanized on the track.

You should really do Seattle Slew and Runhappy if you haven’t already. Especially Runhappy tho bc he is my absolute fav and I believe hes still alive. He was foaled on march 4, 2012 so a newer horse, and fun fact, he was so good, he was given stall one at Claiborne farms. And fun fact about seattle slew, he is the only undefeated triple crown winner. And he also died in his sleep, on his 25th anniversary from winning the Kentucky derby. Also one more horse who isnt very popular at all but deserves a spot in this series. Ferdinand. He was sent to japan to retire I believe but the Japanese person who was looking after him I believe (I dont remember the full story) sent him to slaughter and lied to the owner of him and said he was sent to a riding school. There is a really in depth article on google that shows all the details. And last but not least. Shergar deserves a spot as well.
