Another common issue with the RZ67 Pro II is with the Fine Focus Knob. Since it's essentially a tiny gear made out of plastic, they break really easily. This causes the focus knob to catch and rotate the bigger knob. If the problem is even worse, the gear can dismantle into the main camera components.

Yes, we do mention that in the video. Early RZ67 Pro II camera did indeed have a non-metal fine focus gear. This was revised in later models to a metal gear that will not break.

Is the Bill Rogers photography store still in business? It’s been 3 years since any viddos were posted here. Thank you.

i am modifying an adapter to minimize the tube length for adapting RZ/RB to Nikon F so as to mount the lenses on the PB-4 bellows (w tilt and shift). I am then _hoping_ i can get the concoction to be short enough to maintain infinity focus after mounted and useable. I was considering modifying for the r5 further, and if I could have more tube length removed there, I am pretty sure I can get infinity with the long flange focal distance of the RZ and RB lenses - whichever one has the longer flange focal distance is the type I am looking to buy... They mount the same though, right? I mean, its the same mount but just different Flange focal distances and lenses, but the same mounting system, yeah? I have never seen the mamiya RZ and RB67. I have seen several medium format cameras, many mamiya 645 camera, pentax 67 cameras, fuji 6x12, but when I saw the flange focal distance here I was like, this is my best opportunity to really jailbreak the tilt shift and close focusing capabilities of my bellows

i love macro photography, but there is just so much I would like to do with the bellows on subjects maybe a couple feet from the camera and i just need to get as close as possible to minimizing the flange lengths of the adapters because the bellows _closed_ adds around 25mm - and in that position no tilt or shift is possible. you need about 45-50 mm from the camera body to have full control of tiltand shift, plus the flange focal distance of the body of the R5, that's like 67-72mm ... if the adapters could be made well and very short, this should work grrreat.
