@@llamamanismThe sprite is a gmt which can track upto 3 time zones and the hulk is now discontinues its a time and date only model, its value increased because it’s discontinued.
2:49 - That's a 2541.80 (Quartz) not a 2531.80 (Automatic) - Great condition but dead battery (likely been in there for years, plus no cards, the seller is way off in his estimation on this one.
2:49 that model is stunning but the coaxial escapement hadn't been implemented in Omega yet so it's not as desirable. For some reason they even put a quartz movement in some of them
I have a Daniel Wellington for sale. Just light wear & tear from normal use (smashed glass, spunk stains, missing crown etc.) I'm looking for an offer of around 12 grand.
I'll be interested to hear what Hendo has to say about the Bremont SBS. They were offered to serving members around about 2016 at an absolute steal of a price. The 2 I've seen for sale since then were going for 5 times what the lads paid for them so clearly a great investment! Still, as nice as it is it's not a patch on the Omega Seamaster SBS which is still the Daddy of all these limited edition military watches.
@@rl6783 - not as far as I'm aware. I spent time at Poole but with the Battery not the 🫧. I left there about 5yrs after the watches first appeared and no SFCs (although they weren't technically called that then) had them.
Every Rolex I have has green except my pepsi GMT. Rose gold Wimbledon Datejust 41 (Green on roman numerals), Hulk, Sprite, and mint green motif dial fluted bezel w/jubilee bracelet.
Can’t wait to hear the SBS Bremont stories. Nowadays it’s an omega seamaster and they implant the SBS logo on the watch back. It almost looks like a sticker.
You've never actually held the Omega have you? It's very far from looking like a sticker, it's painted with ceramic based paint on the underside of the sapphire case back. The same case back that is engraved with the service number of the owner as well as a couple of other details. And it predates the Bremont by a decade.
@@JammyDodger45I have actually held it believe it or not. Was back in 2011 I seen/ held it. My memory must fail me but I remember it looking like a sticker…. Was probably based at Condor with you going by your RU-vid handle.
I think for most people the sprite has been a failure. Many like myself thought that it would grow on us, but it still looks weird/off. It looks like a defective upside down Rolex. The collapse in value of the sprite is proof that the market doesn't like it that much.
I really wish you guys would stop selling Rolexes to guys that clearly are not Rolex buyers. Let the AD's filter out who deserves one and who doesn't. They clearly do a great job at it just by listing to your customers so stop interfering.
@@mark_n_r So they have no choice but to go else where then. Your comments make zero sense. How does an AD decide who deserves one? it's who's spent the most - nothing to do with what type of person it is. The guy that bought the Hulk was clearly passionate about Rolex and really wanted the watch. Exactly who should be getting them! Wouldn't of got a sniff in a AD!
@@rchstokes9064 My point exactly, You need to experience a bit of pain when buying a Rolex. Yes it's who spends the most. So if can't afford to spend, you don't deserve a watch.
I bought this popular video watch from NKUWAN , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
