Can I ask what made you comfortable in waiving contingency on inspection? Would be very curious since I would have no idea on my own if a house I wanted to buy was structurally sound/etc on my own without the inspection. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can't get a house in NY if you're working a regular job. Just not comically viable
