honestly all this tank needs is some damn structure and comfortabilty, and just maybe some really hardy coral. but this guy would never listen to the comments anyway so no point
@@iluvgothgirls. pay him the corals then! You dont need a lot of rock structures to make a salt water pond because the fish he got dont need a lot of them the only thing that he can add could be some anemones on the rock so the smaller ones can hide better like the clown fish!
@@samuelcaza6297 4000g and he only has one rock structure in the corner? he says all the time he wishes the smaller fish would come out of that corner and that’s about the only way to do it. especially now that he has an eel and is planning on getting more fish that like to be hidden, they will continue to populate that corner
Congrats on the new fish! The Harlequin Tusk is stunning! And the chocolate tang is so bright! It will definitely change color overtime to become more “chocolate” colored and less yellow. It looks to be a juvenile with the coloring it has! 😊
So awesome love the fish and adding the fake corral I was thinking you were gonna clean the algae off the walls but non the less glad you got new fish. Are you going to add real corral one day? And for real, are you gonna let all the walls grow algae till it turns all green and brown? Or is the reason for another project
the chocolate tang will not stay bright yellow, that is it's juvi color it will turn chocolate brown as it grows. pro tip any supper glue will work as long as its just Cyanoacrylate. you can get it in 8-16os bottles at many places. not sure what your filtration is.1st time watching one of your vids. but i would suggest ozone it will clear up that water nicely. love the concrete tanks. something I have thought about over the years. maybe some day. you have some beautiful and expencive fish in there. no QT? would be a same to loose the lot to ich or velvet.
Paul, Chocolate tangs go through a color morph when they transition to adults. Meaning they will lose the yellow coloration and trade it for a chocolate brown color over time! Also great decision to get the tusk, they a beautiful fish plus relatively peaceful.
I’m curious as to why, if you are loving this saltwater pond so much, are you not cleaning it. Not only you but the rest of us will be able to see the colours far more vibrantly without getting distracted by the yuck on the walls? Otherwise love your content from New Zealand and check for new vids everyday 😁
My mom's favorite fish of all time.. The harlequin tuskfish.. she passed away a few months ago and she would of loved seeing you get one! We watched you all the time together!
3:07, that’s a female bellus angelfish, it belongs to a genus of reef safe angelfish, it’s a rare find indeed and would look amazing in the reef tank in your house
Been wondering what crabs would look like in that saltwater pond of yours. I know you have hermit crabs and snails (and that one urchin), but straight up crabs would be amusing to see.
Paul: “I should make a live stream on the salt pond” Me: yes yes you should I think that would be great I think you should do it on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s if you do it I already know I will be watching all day. ❤
Hey Paul, another great video. Absolutely love the Harlequin Tusk. Colson recently got one for his tank in his last video, but they are one beautiful fish. Thank You, as always Paul , for sharing, can't wait to see more of the new pond, Take Care, and Much Love to You Always.
❤❤❤. Luv watching the process of the pond “ maturing “ ! So happy you were able to get one of your dream fish! The chocolate fish is so beautifully bright! The coral looks amazing! Great job 👏! Pop some zinc and drink some ginger tea, you might be able to ward off that cold! Hey Cuffaro’s…how about popping over to Brian Barczyk’s channel and send some love 💕! Hope you don’t mind Paul. No disrespect intended Fran, Staten Island, NY 😊
One of my favorite angel fish I ever saw in aquarium was in a restaurant here in San Diego and it was a giant yellow angel fish with a little block download his chin when I was a little kid. I used to say it looks like the Carl's junior star :) folded in half. You would love the Sequoia and it took up the whole wall and you got to walk through it. It would overhead as you walked through the door.
Dude you really need to get better lighting for the saltwater pond, the colours on fish dont pop like saltwater fish should do. Get lights will take it too the next level !!
So glad you went the community pond option, must be so good to watch all them different coloured species eat and swim around sometimes I feel like I’m there with you. I’d love to smoke a joint and just sit there and watch them all day 😂 been watch your stuff since the og mums backyard pond days all the way from Aus 🇦🇺 👌
I hate to say it but with all the new fish and pond take the Boulder style rocks out the saltwater pond and put it in the predator. Spend the money to do live rock in the current pond. Will look so much better and be worth it once done
Love that pond! Also miss your old freshwater pond you had built in farm 1.0 building, but everything is coming along it all looks 💣 💥 you should build your pool table into a tank!
Dude watch how andrew sandler feeds the nori in his system (polo reef). You need to jimmy rig a PVC pipe with pool noodles and use string to tie onto to PVC tube and put nori clips at the bottom of the string. You will get way better feeding videos because you dont have to hold it and you can position it in your viewing window. Telling you dude, it will work magically
Bro I just wanted to say I’ve been watching you for so long from here in the UK and I love your content BUT the fun twist is my Wife is from Jupiter and I love it there, such a beautiful place full of amazing fish! We have 4/5 freshwater tanks and a mini zoo here but I can’t wait till we make it over there permanently so I can explore the fish possibilities! Also shout out API I always use their products, leaf zone especially is a MUST for my planted tank🤘🏼
Your ponds are all very clear but because of the green algae on the walls they look green. Have you tried something like a large push broom or something of the sort to scrape the walls?
