Man, I’ve been all my life wanting a R34. When I couldn’t sleep I used to dream about driving one and fell asleep instantly. You have made up my mind, I am going to pursue my dream, thank you. Now I’m 18 years old. I’ll come back to these comment in 5-6 years, and I will let you know if I was able to afford one. You are a true dreamer and a goal accomplisher!! All the best for you.
So How do we ship them from Japan to the U.S.? We need guidance. Do you have any Information to make it Easier? I almost shipped my R-33 before but lost Faith due to it's going to Cost me 49Grand just to get it Regulated in California. Then I heard all kinds of Fees I still have to pay to be able to Drive it in the U.S. Please Help, Thank You!!!
This is how a grateful person reacts. It's not about how much the car costs, but how much the car means. Funny-ish thing is, not a lot of people understand this.
Surprisingly this car can cost a huge amount of money around the globe. For example, in my country it costs over 400k (US dollars). And there's only one person who owns it in the whole country.
Yeah my dad always complains about how it isn’t worth it whenever I say I want one someday, he thinks because they aren’t as tough as old American muscle cars that they won’t last long like those do, but it’s not about the money, always tells me I’ll never get the money back from what I paid for it, not about that, I’d never sell it.
@@satan3702 wtf ? In america the gtr r34 cost around 90k-100k . V spec around 150k ; only the z tune could cost at 400k at most... where did you get 400k ?
@@changstaboy Ive been watching his videos since his bucket seat install on the wrx... And i think there was a video of him teaching his girlfriend, at the time, how to drive stick
@The Gaban One of the main characters in Too Fast Too Furios movie series... He died in a car crash alongside one of his friends who was the driver :/. He drove a r34 and a toyota supra
When I was stationed in Japan with the Airforce, I knew I wanted to own a gtr, I got there in 2017, and went and bought a gtr33 and it was my daily for the 2 years I spent there. I came back to the US in 2019, and had to sell it and to this day I feel like I left half of my soul in Japan. Once I complete my contract, I plan on relocating back to Japan permanently. I fell in love with everything there and can’t wait to move back!!!
@@nomad_3373 thats impressive ive heard japanese is one of the hardest to learn! So u got stationed and had no prior knowledge of japanese or u knew some of it?
@@Yumadlol I’ve always been into the Japanese culture since a teenager. I never knew the language in-depth until I went over there. As a soldier you get to elect free language classes, and I did, 5 days a week for 7 months, and I studied on my days off as well. Anyone that wants to get something done, gets it done by all means necessary. Take Dustin here, he wanted a gtr34, he busted his ass for it and got it. I wanted to learn the language because I wanted to explore Japan in its entirety and wanted to be able to make life long friends. Hiragana and katakana are easy to master, and the language itself is not that hard once you grab the concept of it. What gets everyone including myself is, kanji. There’s 2300+ characters and even Japanese natives have a hard time with it.
While over in Japan those Syklines are like the Mustang of Japan soo many people have them and its great to finally see them start showing up in America
Out of all the car youtubers I watch and talk about their “dream car”, this car is truly dustins dream. Since I started watching DWAM, I can’t count how many times he’s said the R34 is his dream. So stoked for you man! You are acting how I would if I got an R32 as that’s my favorite out of the skylines. Or a 2000 🙌
bro i just found your channel and this my dream ever since i was 18 years old... you made my day... watching someone achieving their life goals is just... let’s just say you put a huge smile on my face
Dustin that's amazing dude. Continue to follow your dreams and inspire others like myself to pursue theirs. I've always been in love with the Skyline/GTR series as well. All I have to say is thank you for the motivation.
I haven't even finished watching the video and I'm already teary eyed because you are literally expressing my feelings about the skyline R34. Massive congratulations bro! Incredibly gorgeous and supportive fiance, a growing channel and apparel business and the opportunity to buy and modify your dream cars....I say life is looking pretty good for ya bro and you deserve it because you are always greatful for it.
I'm living in Aichi, Japan. As I write this there's a bright yellow Corvette at the dentist's surgery next to my house- it stands out like dog's balls. You see GTRs all the time .
I see Camaro and Mustangs in Hiroshima more than I thought and in Tokyo particularly the shopping districts(Shibuya-Harajuku-Omotesando) I've seen Hellcats and other American muscle cars.Depends on the part of Japan you live in? Where I live in Hiroshima STi are the go to weapon of choice, Tokyo has a bit of everything but the GTRs rule the road and in Kansai it's more tuner eccentric more about performance more about OG JDM (Hondas,180sx, FD)
Snipez _ yes, skylines you see everyday the same way you see Mustangs in the states, there’s a Nissan dealership near my home in Hiroshima on the showroom floor is a new R35 and a mint R34,34 not for sale but it’s still on the floor
Damn man..... The way he reacted is how any of us would react getting a dream car. I'm happy he bought he's dream car. And it's somewhat inspiring as well. I want to work on get an r32 or an r33 gts.
Made me smile man feels good, especially when you can relate to someone who’s accomplished things you wanna do yourself in life, great video an congratulations!!
As a new follower Dustin, your journey so far has been amazing and truly inspiring. I can tell youre a humble and loving person. Im close to having my dream car on the road soon and your content is geeing me up!
Man, congrats on the new car, I have always wanted an R34 too young for one though, and I am waiting for the R34 to be legal. I love one specific part of your video when you spoke of Brian's R34 and that actually gave me some crazy flashbacks. Congrats again on the car my man and have fun with it.
Your awesome for pursuing your dream man. I dont know why it feels so awesome watching you drive your dream car. I cant believe the condition of the car is like its out of the factory the first time it is build.
Wow!!! Thanks for the full video about NISSAN SKYLINE R34!!! JUST FOR THOSE WHO LOVE AND DREAM THIS CAR ONLY KNOW HOW THE FEELING. I'M IN LOVE WITH THE GTR R34... PLUS IT'S THE LEGEND CAR TILL NOW!!!

New to the channel but just the same many CONGRATS on this lifelong dream come true purchase!! I can only imagine the feeling you had landing in The Home of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵 after making your purchase and having the keys handed to you. Straight chills down the spine! Big shout 🗣📢 out to Percy 'Zosh' Mescudi for recommending you channel!
Young Man you've achieve what many of us would only dream in our lifetimes. This being one of them. Much respect to all you do man and drive past, far far away those who doubt you!
This is how I want to feel. The R34 is my dream Dustin maybe in 10 years time when im 45 I can join the club. So proud of you bro. Take good care of her bro.
@@Kevhoe oh, fo sho. I just bought a skyline (been my favorite cars for some goddamn reason since I was about 10, and I'm almost 30 now.. yikes.) and even I agree with you. I thoroughly love 34s, and 33/32/31/Hakosukas the whole lineup, but even I can't deny that they are objectively totally overhyped lol
You are too young to be worrying about a car like that. Be smart with your money and set yourself up in life and then worry about buying a car like that.
Watching this made me so happy. If the day comes where i can get one i think i’ll cry on the spot. My dream car since i was a child! Incredibly happy for you
It’s funny how many times you said “there’s no way this is real” “oh my god” “this is a dream come true” When I went to Japan last year and rented an r34 I couldn’t stop saying those things either! I’m sure I was annoying my friend. Congrats!! I love how happy you are it’s contagious
dude come on, you'll make me cry ahah.. i'm so happy for you dude, i really felt your happiness! i'm from Portugal and that's really hard to get one of these here... i really hope one day i can buy one... wish you all the best dude
Dude, i'm so jealous and happy for you! I just found Top Rank a few days ago and found the car of my dreams! Its a 1994 Skyline R33 GTS25T Type M and I know its not a R34 but she is one sexy ride. Once again i'm so happy for you and I look forward to your future vids on your new car!
I feel so much for this guy!..I lost my 97 STI few months back since I couldn't afford monthly repayment due to financial hardship.feels like I lost my soul
Congrats man! I got emotional watching this as this is my dream car as well and has been my whole life so I can only imagine how you felt inside! Enjoy that beautiful piece of art bro and again congrats! Hopefully my day comes as well, this definitely gives me hope!
You seem like such a good person, man! Glad you're living your dreams and got the car of your dreams! Nothing but love and thanks for the inspirations to go get my own!
Im so happy for U brother ! Amazing video.. Thank you for sharing that with all us !!! Every car fan needs that moment in his life! To stand in front of the car of his dreams and enjoy the experience that is already his car and he succeeded ... thats amazing !!!! For the car Im not gonna even talk right now.. its so beutiful !!!
Dustin: "Don't want to show the back of hoodie because it'll reveal the car" Also Dustin: Putting "BUYING MY DREAM R34 SKYLINE GTR IN JAPAN" in video title & "Showing R34 in Thumbnail" Whatever, that R34 is sick and congrats! Love your videos!
Glad you got it. Looks awesome. I have one. Got it a few years ago. I saw it in the Fast and the furious movies and I realized that it was my dream car. It was really an accident that I found it and when the opportunity to buy it presented it self I just moved on it. Have done a bunch of mods to it. Which I could share with you some pictures. Enjoy because it is worth it.
