The marlin 6 is really sweeping the market right now, me and my boyfriend both bought marlin 6's in early July, and we've seen plenty of other people out riding them too. Really awesome bike for the price. Its not cheap, but its not horrifically expensive. We did end up changing our saddles because the stock saddle hurt our asses.
I also have exactly same complain with marlin. Your ass hurts after a while 😅 But other than that amazing bike. I haven’t seen any other marlin 6 around me cuz $1000 price tag is expensive for a lot of bikers. What you think of off roading on this bike? Have you tried it yet?
@@GagnonGaming88 if you have a Walmart nearby go and check out the bike seats. Almost anything is better that the stock Trek seat. The bike manufacturers choose very light (junk) seats to keep the overall bike weight down.
love everything about this and incase no one else said it you look like youre living the dream beautiful house beautiful wife and seems like yall have great personalities im sure it took a lot of hard work to get all of that love to see it !
i love your modern relationship! it is great to see a man have to ask his wife before making a purchase, and finishing the video off by doing the dishes. hehehehe.
Hey, just liked and subscribed. Just a couple of weeks ago I too bought the Marlin 6 for casual riding and love it. Enjoyed watching the video. Oh, and by the way I’m still doing the dishes. Take care
😂 looks like we both are in the same boat of "doing the dishes" Thanks for the support bro 🤝 By the way this marlin 6 is just amazing. I ride it almost everyday in the evening for 20-30mints 🚴
@@Thevoiceofreason84 loved it. I rode this bike everywhere on mountains, streets, beach and every single place was just so much fun on this bike. Very smooth and very strong bike
Not sure what your local selection was like, but there are cheaper Marlin models available (Marlin 4, 5). Also don't think you mentioned exactly what type of terrain you planned to ride the bike on- this would be the most significant factor when deciding which style bike to buy. Marlin model good for a good amount of trail use, Dual Sport maybe better if you're on roads more than trails.
This was my first bike buying experience other than buying once from walmart 😅 I didn’t know much about bikes and trails but i am learning now. Most of my use will be on off road trails. Do you think this is a good bike for off roading trails?
I was on foot.. walking to the Trek dealer.. was going to get the red to black fade Marlin 6 but due to rain and lightning.. i ended up at a Specialized dealer and bought a Rockhopper sport. Its a great bike.. lets ride..!!
Nice story. The brakes are really sharp. Once accidentally pressed the left brake and was thrown over and took a month to recover and overcome the fear of cycling. The left lever is usually for rear brake in India. The brakes are reversed in this case. Learnt to first apply the right brake to slowdown and then gradually apply the left to stop. The rear wheel tends to lift on hard braking. Helmet essential. The seats can make your parts go numb. Needs a seat post with spring and a wider seat. Enjoy cycling.
Thankyou so much srinath bhai 🤗 And yes you are right. Brakes are tight and seat is hard 😅 i have losen my brakes and about the seat i still suffer the numbness 🤣
Hello my fellow brown dude 👋🏽 I just ordered two of the same bikes for my fiancée and I. Unfortunately here in Canada our sizes are sold out everywhere, so we’re going to have to wait till October 😢
Waoooo I didn’t knew they were this popular everywhere. That means you wont be able to ride this bike this year right? Becz in October winter will start up in Canada? But this is indeed a great bike. You and your fiancé are gona love biking together.
@@TheBrownDude Maybe I can get a few rides before winter and that’s IF there are no delays! Looking forward to more videos of you riding this great bike!
@@Makaroniveli i hope the best for you to get that bike on time so you can enjoy it 🙏 Yes sirrr. Everywhere i am going. I am taking this bike with me to make sorm cool vids 😅
Thankyou soo much 🥹 I am trying my best to make the best so you can enjoy the best 🫡 If you have more any tips or ideas please Leme know. They might help me create even better
Perfect mountain bike? I thought the same when I spent $1,000 on my first hardtail. If you love mtb, you're going to want more! Welcome to the club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahah you are right 🫣 i love MTB and i am already looking into bigger and smoother bikes 😅 becz i want to land a little more softer when i drop from a few feet 🚵♀️ Any smooth bike that you would recommend me for MTB specially for smoother landings? 🤔
@@TheBrownDude You just gotta man up and take the hit, if you are newer to mtb a full suspension may halt your learning alot. Stay on a hardtail and upgrade the marlin, once you get fast and comfortable on that bike then upgrade.
@@martinramirezjr8619 How was your experiance on off roads? i drive my bike on normal trails and rough trails all the time and i enjoy riding it every day. Its a solid cool bike and very comfortable and light
@@TheBrownDude at my local Trek store and on their website yes, If you got it at a local bike shop that’s probably why it was more but I think that’s a lot of mark up, it’s still a sweet ride though I bought the Marlin 8 last month
@@jesusrios324 yes i did bought it from a local bike store 🥺 But anyways i would say you are right its still worth paying a few extra bucks for this amazing bike 🚴
@@joske5358 both are almost similar. This bike is more smooth on dirt roads as compared to cube aim. BUT depends on your use if you will be mainly riding it on normal roads than cube aim is better deal. YET STILL go to your local bike shop amd take both for a test rode for a day and see which bike you like more 👍
@@TheBrownDude I drive both, normal road and dirt, I am in small city, thats why I asking, I dont have local store, I must get bike from online shop, so I must decide for the bike, I more like trek but I dont know is it enough good and for normal road and enough fast for me
@@joske5358 if you do both like me than i will highly suggest you to go for marlin trek 6. I have it and i m telling you i take it everywhere. If you check my recent vids i have been taking it everywhere on my roadtrip nd loving it
