Damn this kid has no respect for his own property lol. I recently purchased a new rolex from an authorised dealer, and I would never handle my timepiece the way this guy does. I would certainly never shake the box, dump it on the floor ect. Also whilst in the store there appears to be like 4 or 5 Rolex watches being passed around as if they are $2 pieces of candy, feels very unprofessional and strange. The whole video is BIZARRE. I have no problem with a young guy owning one of these, i'm relatively young myself, but damn this guy is just clueless lol. Even pretends to drop one of the watches in the shop, very juvenile behaviour that I imagine wouldn't be welcome in many boutiques. You are definitely right. When I bought my first Rolex from an authorized dealer, it was such a pleasant, enjoyable, and special experience. The owner of the jewelry store where I bought the watch even came down and we talked for a while. The store had champagne and espresso to enjoy while you try on the different watches, Not to sound snobby, but it was such 180 from what is shown in this video. And the store I'm referring to is only an hour outside of Manhattan in Princeton, NJ. They could have gone there. Plus there are real authorized Rolex dealers in Manhattan but you pay more money.

I went to an A.D in my country, and my Datejust had protective plastic on for that exact reason. If you don't own a Rolex you really don't have the right to talk about the process. And they didn't come in cellophane, they are just presented that way in many big cities, when the A.D does not trust the customer entirely

Some said go crazy and scratch off bucket list items. What did I do? I invested the money in 4 index funds: One technology, one healthcare, one consumer staples, one energy. Call Vanguard or Fidelity if you must. How did I do 7 years later? I absolutely crushed it. if my boss walks in and says I gotta let you go, I don't break a sweat because my bills for at least the next year are PAID. I doubt my timing will ever be better. Point is when you are *young* you MUST have your cash ready to kill it when markets take a dive and stocks, index funds, property, get cheap. If your cash is tied up in cars and watches you'll be "all hat no cattle".
Not if you know what you're doing. Cars depreciate, but iconic watch brands and models do not. If you buy solely for investment and not pleasure (of being a watch enthusiast), then go for the iconic pieces and models within your price range, make sure they come from a reputable source, or perhaps a single owner, be lucky every now and then from say an eBay auction, having gotten a genuine non-molested piece with box and papers for a reasonable price. The value would just keep on going up and up. And if you were a watch enthusiast, then a couple of years from now, those 4 or so mid pieces can easily be resold for the same price or better, to fund the real high end piece.

I've just bought one new from a Rolex AD and the staff was removing those wraps and stickers right in front of me. Looks like he bought some used Rolex from one of the shops in the Diamond District in NYC. That is 47th st between 5th and 6th ave. You should be able to get a decent price and decent watch there, but some shops are better than others. If my dream was to have a Rolex and I had the money, I would have at least purchased my first one at an authorized Rolex Dealer. Heck he was only 6 blocks (5 minute walk) from the flagship Rolex Boutique on 5th Ave. I would have made my first Rolex from the Boutique. Maybe if I wanted a second watch I would hit up the used shops on 47th street. I certainly would not have chosen two watch of the same model just different colors.

EA420 RU-vid itsnt a labor intensive job. You can basically do everything you want during the day while Filming it. Editing doesn't take as long as you think especially for blogs like this. You just make a lot of cuts mainly. This probably took less than an hour to edit. If you look at someone like Casey neistat.. he takes RU-vid and makes it harder for himself when it comes to his vlogs. This guy not so much.
