Remember, if you come to Paris there is tons of antiques, especially in the flea market, and they are half the price as the US...and when you import antiques there isn't a duty tax, same for art!!! If you come to France, may as well hit up some of the used furniture shops in the south of France, or Brittany, and you can find GREAT deals...
@@Mer1am Hi, I like to go to the Brocantes around the country, I used to live part time in St Tropez so I had all sorts of sales points along the Rivera, where kids had sold their parents stuff since nobody wanted "old" furniture, now I live in Paris only and hit up the flea markets here and still it may be Paris on a Monday you can get the best antiques for half the price of LA...Should be even better outside Amsterdam, just go to the smaller towns and also find out when the antique paires are (foire in french) they have them across Paris, each hood has one a year, so they are generally selling their goods every other weekend if not every weekend...some "foires" last a week, others 2 days... Watch the Pethericks on here, they do tons of antique shopping in Brittany, may be far but they get fantastic deals!!!!

If Amber buys the antique furniture, she’s probably gonna be like Marie Antoinette by the time she’s done as the prints of the furniture she likes is mostly a Rococo aesthetic and it really suits the Royalcore aesthetic and aura that Amber really has.
I'm so glad that you got the Parisian divider. I've been antique shopping for years and love learning about all kinds of antiques and I have never in all my years seen anything like those dividers! Also, since that divider has older silk, kee it out of the sun Amber. It will deteriorate faster and bleach out the fabric. I know you did that for the video but please keep that in mind when buying older furniture with antique fabric. Just a friendly reminder!

Amber. I love your style for antique French furniture. We live in a Victorian. But our dream is to buy a petite Chateau in France. The etching on the glass can be done on mirror as well. I buy lots of antiques, that’s kind of something I like about them. Every piece has a story and I’m always welcoming to my new pieces. They get to come to a loving home so I think they all give off the wholesome energy I give towards them

I actually love this series though. I'm super big into interior design and Imy style is supeeer close to Amber's, but mine is a bit more modern/contemporary. Gives me so much inspo for when I build in the sims n other design games. Love it

The gold object is called " bonbonière " in French, you can put sweets in it and put it on the living room's / kitchen surface for guests , so classy !
I think your little crystal box is called a "Bomboniere" (bomb-bon-ye-air), which is basically the fancy way of saying trinket or treat box. Host's used to use them as gift boxes for guests on special occasions, or to hold treats for guests in their rooms if they were staying the night. Sort of like a super fancy cookie jar meets event goody box. Yours is on the larger side for a Bomboniere, so probably more cookie jar than goody box.
