Buying & Selling Used Camera Gear 

Agree 100% on eBay. I used them a lot years ago but the fees became very prohibitive to making a fair deal for both sides. I had a very bad experience with MPB (I hear Omar did as well) and will not be shopping with them anymore. Too many good options. I do like B&H as well as Adorama. I have been buying more from Adorama as my membership gets me a year of free accidental damage warranty. I also do a lot of buying/selling on Reddit Photomarket. I am SoCalDawg there. I had no idea about KEH. I will have to look into that. Thank you.

What are your main uses for the camera? Both very good. Both very different in ways like weight & cost.

@@TCinSoCal It would be an everyday shooter -- and I'm weighing cost vs performance -- meaning if I can get an adapted 16-80mm lens giving me a 24-120 equilivant at over 1/2 the cost of going the full frame Z6 II -- where the Z6 II doesn't even have a 24-120 native lens ... I would be ahead -- and the form factor is quite small.... I would take a bit of a hit on performance to an extent -- but I would be saving on size and cost. And from what I understand the Z50 video is a class leader... Ugh... Keep up your video stuff -- it's great ... and your viewership will take off I'm sure... eventually. The YTube is an interesting study...

@@JSturr IMO, the Z50 isn’t much of a hit in performance from the Z6ii. Z50 AF is good..say 90% of the Z6ii from my time with them. If you are shooting more static subjects there is no difference. The Z50 has followed my boys pretty well in baseball/football.. not D500 amazing, but well. The Z6ii will be slightly better with ISO performance in low light but it’s not significant. A 1.8 lens on the Z50 will only be a stop or so behind the Z6ii. Outdoors in good light the Z50, for general use, is at least 90% of the Z6ii. The 16-50 kit lens with the Z50 is excellent. Indoors you would want a 1.8 but the FTZ adapter and a 50/35 1.8 is less $ than the Z 35 1.8 alone. These are my thoughts. A big advantage of the Z50 is being able to carry it around (and use) one-handed. I recently was in an area driving around and it was so easy to take shots one-handed from inside my vehicle. For general use, the Z6ii would be over spend. That’s my $0.02. Reddit Photomarket has one or two Z50 kits there now.

@@TCinSoCal I'm also in a funny place -- as I have a Nikon D3s .. it's old skool but I bought it new in 2009 and still quite a performer with small files ... but I long for 24mp at the minimum but as I get older I'm having a more difficult time spending thousands on a new body when I don't have the Architectural jobs to cover it just yet ... as these/this purchase would just be for "fun" ... so -- that's my story ... and I also shoot film ... go figure...

Yes. I think I’ve done 41 transactions on PhotoMarket. You do have to be careful but I have a process that’s reliable.
