This is European(Eastern) Tesla which mostly makes air conditioning units, they’re actually older than the American Tesla, and even went to court for it🤣
@@JessicaFEREM there are way better rugged phones than this for less than half the price. Unihertz, doogee, Alcatel, Blackview Have phones with similar or better internals for sometimes 20% of the MSRP.
@@HaslemBurner Sure, I'm willing to bet almost anyone that buys this phone is doing so because they're a hardcore Tesla fan. Frankly, if it comes to making a phone, I would trust any of those other companies over Tesla. It's still on Android 11, at least if you get a unithertz tank mini or something ... I know that company has made a couple dozen of different smartphones. But this phone is probably not aimed at people that are not super hardcore Tesla fans. I didn't even know it existed, though, so I haven't done much research. Back that it's only on Android 11 would suggest 3, it's got to be at least 4 years old at this point though.
Nice that they even managed to copy the build quality and software issues of an average Cybertruck in this phone as well. That’s what I call attention to detail!
@@VarVarJeg From their FAQ: "Do you make cars? Nope. That is Tesla Inc., which provides solar, energy storage, charging, and vehicles as part of its mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. We make and distribute consumer electronics products and household appliances inspired by Nikola Tesla’s idea to provide technology for all." They even link Elons Tesla here and also explain their history on the site. So... Nothing is illegal, they have the name rights and back when they had them, Elons Tesla wasn't even remotely as big.
It's actually not as much of a scam as most people here think. Overpriced AF but the company is real and actually has the name rights from someone who had them before musk funded his company.
Tesla is the signature brand of the Serbian company ComTrade which they launched in 2014. ComTrade is primarily a _Software_ company, so that's why there's so many odd 1st party apps (like that ZOOM app).
I can explain that the app crashing is mostly because of the Play Store being set up for the first time so it will crash due to it trying to update itself it happens to me every time when I reset my phone. Also, the 20gbs is being taken up by default apps
15 bucks gets you a oled screen, sure it's attached to a 2013 android flagship, but it's oled, and looks super sharp and good with angles, somewhat falls apart with darker images but bright stuff looks just as good as new screens
It's unlikely for the company to be taken down or even sued as they did not use Teslas current logo and Tesla is not a tradmarked or copyrighted name as it is based off of a guy names Nikola Tesla. The current family of Nikola could sue both Nikola auto and Tesla auto if they wanted, but they wont as it's a name. This is how this is legal.
To all the ones that might wanna try that G-CPU app…my iPhone started glitching out and the app would never fully open when I downloaded it. Just be careful
Rugged phones are one of the devices that I consider overpriced sometimes. Probably to exploit non-tech buyers. Though, sometimes you can find great rugged phones from chinese online stores. But best one is probably Samsung's XCover lineup.
You are supposed to switch off any cell phone In any hospital due to cardiac In any hospital due to cardiac defibrillators and other Products that they get interfere with
When you take the name of your comapany, from the name of an actual dude that has no relationship with you ir your company....You cant really complain when someone else decides its a good idea. Especially when they don't compete with you...
Why did you preface your comment with "as a cybertruck owner" when it had nothing to do with the rest of the comment? That'd be like me saying "as a white male, i really enjoy eating pizza"
I have a tesla TV from the same guys and while I knew all the products were mid at best (the tv is very generic but also free so) I didn't know they were straight up fraudelent
TESLA a.s. is a Czech manufacturer and supplier of special radio communication and security electrical engineering for military and commercial use. The name was originally used by a state-owned conglomerate that was the monopoly producer of electronic appliances and components in the former Socialist Republic of Czechoslovakia. The conglomerate was founded in 1946.
Yeah bro this is a brand that existed before Elon announced any kind of phone. When it was coming out it actually seemed like it was gonna be good but just turned out to be a rich person trap.
I am not to pleased with this video. All phones like PCs come with bloat wear, you get rid of what you don't need. Also it has been commented that this is a European model so there needs are different. I believe he should have known that enabling a more accurate assessment. I sensed a bias attitude in his analogy, I could be wrong.
I hope that the monetization of the channel will give you to recover the bad purchase. I imagine you bought this knowing it was rubbish. Thank you for your fresh, original and enjoyable content. Greetings from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
4:23 GCPU Does that everytime...I somehow managed to work on my a10s...so..yeah...G CPU is just bugged But to be honest...that phone should be $300,not $800.. it's priced too much
The design is a pretty clear ripoff of the Unihertz/8849 Tank series, just with a smaller battery. Unihertz are a bit strange; they use two different brand names, seldom update their OSes, and yes they do have an Aliexpress store but they *definitely* make unique phones.
It's pronounced Tess-La, NOT Tezz-La. Also, One of the big selling points of the "PI" yet to be released, is that the phone is to cost $100. You paid $849 for yours. I think I will just wait a bit.
Watching this video on 08:05 pm from UAE. but i really feels bad how many Innocence people will face this scam they are just selling the nonsense on this price
Hello John ! I really appreciate your review since I recently found out about that phone and thought "is it really a phone by Tesla (Elon Musk's company) ?!" . So glad I got there ! Quite deep and genuine opinion on that device , though it's not that cool 😅 I'm sick to buy a real Tesla phone which has to be dope af ! 🔥 Thank you !
This is not sold by Amazon. It’s sold by a 3rd party. The name of the company Is Tesla Americas. Obviously this is not Tesla. I’m sure there will be a lawsuit at some point from Tesla to get them taken off. Be careful while shopping on Amazon almost half the products are sold by third parties
WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY $800 ON AMAZON WHEN ELON MUSK SET THE FEE AT $100. Just gotta find out where and when to buy. DO NOT PAY $800, PEOPLE THAT DO NOT KNOW THE REAL PRICE ARE RUNNING TO PAY $800. NO WAY!
you have to wait for the Tesla Pi phone suppose to come out Oct 15 th rumors have it. Thst phone suppose to be superior then any other smart phone on earth
It's So weird that I just saw this exact phone in my recommendations on Amazon earlier today and I thought that has to be a rip off or knock off and it's expensive for such a OLD ASS processor and specs. It's gotta be slow as shit!!!
so I got a MF150 chinise phone who does all what this one does and it cost me 120 euros is like 131 Dollar never had any ussue running any apps and it is what it roughed phone who has huge battery and is water dust and fall resistent
Not to be nerdy its a real company idk if it existed before Elons tesla but they are a legitimate company from Europe so im not supriesd its not knows in usa so if u want there devices its not a fake knockoff its a normal company -edit if im not mistak its from Czech if google didn't lie
