why isnt anyone mentioning how nice her hair is after 4 days of not washing, my hair gets extremely greasy after 1 day, even not even going outside or doing anything
Same.. I have to wash mine everyday.. with the pandemic I played around with not washing it as often (because I heard it can sometimes be greasy from over shampooing) and it made no difference.. I have just embraced it at this point lol 😆

The black and white line “dad” shirt with those boyfriends jeans and that little red shirt look absolutely STUNNNNNIIIIIIIINGGGGGGGG on you. You are so beautiful.
also fast fashion is extremely horrible for the environment and you could definitely use your platform to promote slow/ethical/sustainable fashion! i know eric prefers this too so i would love to hear how he shops for his clothing!!
@@shell9918 i know but she also has a huge platform and the ability to influence thousands of people. so promoting a brand that is better for the environment and the workers who make her clothing could influence others to make similar ethical decisions too! and she doesn’t have to spend a ton of money, tons of places are affordable and more ethical than shein :)
@@shell9918 and also she could just support small businesses that are inexpensive, but still supporting an individual or a family, rather than throwing more money at bezos/other horrible corporations!
Pretty much any "really cheap clothes" are not gonna have good business practices/pay fair wages. You can't make clothes that cheap and also pay your factory workers high wages.
I highly recommend “the true cost” documentary for anyone that has no idea what this comment is talking about. It’s actually really good and really informative and all about fast fashion
Yeah, I’m really glad she mentioned the company has bad practices but think it’s important for people to know the details. Not only does it reflect poor wages, it often reflects dangerous work environments, slavery, and really poor environmental practices.
Yes, this is so true, and I'm glad she addressed the issues with Shein at the beginning of the video! I hope she realizes this about other cheap clothing companies like Forever 21 and Amazon as well.
Ok but her “mom skin” is so cool! Her body stretched to grow a human and snapped back to what she is now, with just a hint of a reminder of what she is capable of.
Since she doesn't like to spend a lot of money on clothes (fair enough, also a lot of people can't afford to) she should try something like threadup or poshmart. Then she could get a good deal without buying garbage from fast fashion companies that don't care about workers rights or the environment.
@@hannah.mariao nope, I'm typing it on an old phone. But indeed point taken, I agree phones and other electronics are a problem. I don't yet have a more eco friendly alternative but if you know one please let me know, I'd love a better option. As for clothes we are starting to have alternatives so why not make use of them instead of sticking with old problematic ways?
I don’t think idolize is the right word. She doesn’t glamorize being a mom but I kinda think she does idolize it... she loves being a mom more than anything, and she has said that before
@@celticgirl389 I see what you mean, I was meaning that she shows the bad parts of being a mother and the good. Which I’m sure makes moms feel like there not alone. However that’s true she has said many a time, I love being a mom.
The fast fashion industry is bad for the environment, just a tip maybe start investing in good pieces of clothing to reduce your waste. Really appreciate your channel just trying to spread awareness.
She did say at the start of the video that she realized it was a bad company after she ordered and that she won’t be ordering anything from there again!
I cannot stand when people ONLY talk in a high “baby talk” voice to their kids. We have some relatives and oh my gosh it drove me insane and it was not a surprise at all when their son had speech issues because they literally never talked to him in a normal voice. There’s nothing wrong with a sweet soft voice when you’re cuddling up to your baby but just like your baby grows, your conversation needs to grow as well.
Flynn talking through it and actually contributing to the video is so friggin cute. I've been watching since 2013 and it is soooooo surreal to see your baby boy talking already, I am shooketh
I'm really glad that a lot of comments are bringing this up. It also bothers me how she buys all this stuff and then says that she isn't going to wear it.
hi! I'm a senior in a fashion major and I can tell you straight up that SHEIN is a horrible company. I know it's really cheap, but the people making the clothes are in sweatshops and barely get paid enough to buy food. I used to love stores like SHEIN until I got educated on the topic of fast fashion. If you need a cheaper alternative, I recommend thrift stores! The clothes that don't get bought at thrift stores just go to landfills and pollute the earth, so you might as well just give those clothes a new home. xoxo
I love Colleen and her videos, but I feel like she should have said a little more than just ''its a bad company.'' I don't blame regular people making minimum wage buying from these companies because it's all they can afford to purchase, the blame should be shifted to wealthy people who can afford to make ethical clothing decisions but still don't. Colleen is clearly in the latter category and has the means to make more ethical purchases, as well as the platform to educate and encourage better choices. At the end of the day even if she doesn't support the company, she has still made money of making this video.
and with all that I still don’t understand why it’s a bad company. I mean I know the quality isn’t always great but you get what you pay for...and some stuff is actually really great.
I think more of what she is referring to as a “bad company” is the fact that they had symbols of white supremacy on some of the accessories that they sold. Obviously fast fashion is an issue but with this specific company that was not the only problem
0:52 Thank you! For all of ya'll who didn't know shein is actually really bad for the environment, so be careful while shopping. But continue on with your day and the video, have a good one!
@@ilovetumblr99 how? These cheap clothes don't last very long at all and then get thrown away and end up in the garbage. Plus, most of it is made of polyester, which is basically plastic and therefor bad for the environment.
@@RekitRachel and one of them is not contributing to pollution of the planet. This lady has the money to buy clothing that is ethically and sustainably produced but instead buys fast fashion for likes on a RU-vid video (:
it sucks cuz some people can’t afford to buy from sustainable places :( especially since thrift stores are raising their prices due to people up selling their products 😔
@@yoselinrazo1870 that’s very true :/ I think it’s important to just be mindful of our purchases and limiting the amount of fast fashion we buy as much as possible
I would love to buy from thrift stores or ethical brands but like- we can't afford those ethical brands that want you to pay 50 dollars for a plain white shirt, and the thrift stores in my area never have anything cute or remotely my style and what I'm comfortable wearing, so unfortunately target has to do sometimes.
also fast fashion is extremely horrible for the environment and you could definitely use your platform to promote slow/ethical/sustainable fashion! i know eric prefers this too so i would love to hear how he shops for his clothing!! 100%!
Ok so basically he added the sentence “100%” at the end of his comment which makes me think that he was a agreeing with the original creator of this comments and not just copying their comment for likes, so please stop hating on him.
She said she heard the brand from TikTok, so she didn't know the company well. She also said she's never buying from them again. So, if you just watched the video, you would've gotten that much.
I know SHEIN is an extremely bad brand and I try not to order from them but it’s really hard to find affordable, cute, plus size clothes that fit me anywhere else. They really need to make plus size clothes more affordable.
Hi Colleen! Thank you for making sure people know the background behind Shein as a company!! It is super important that you know who and what you are supporting before you buy from them. Shein clothing is so cheap because they do NOT support ethical contributors and they put their workers in horrible conditions while also underpaying them. Again pls consider these things before supporting these types of company’s!
@@qtqake5483 if you shop at Primark, Shein, H&M, other very cheap brands, you need to know that little children hands have made those clothes, poor children, who don’t have chances in this cruel world
@RainyCloud if you believe that, you believe unicorns exists, i don’t need to tell you that Primark also make clothes for children. There is a reason why these clothes are cheap: bad work conditions
Can we all just accept that even if colleen wears the ugliest outfit in the world she would still look stunning she would rock it, and no one can tell me other wise. She is beautiful❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰
I really love the Colleen doesn’t push Flynn away when she’s filming . I’ve seen it a lot of times where people won’t let their kids in the shot or they’ll tell them to be quiet and it’s a little sad . Colleen is really such an amazing mom
Dear Colleen, this is coming from a place of love: everytime you make a video buying lots of stuff and joking about how it's horrible quality and how you're never gonna use it, I ache a little for our planet.
@@bethanamy right, especially because she can afford higher quality, ethically made clothing - wish she’d try and switch her habit of resorting to cheaper clothing companies that abuses labour laws (e.g. forever 21, etc)

colleen, i would like to help educate you on shein/fast fashion. shein is considered fast fashion, which is horrible for the environment. i know you are great at spreading awareness and using your platform for the better. we all know you are wealthier and are able to afford a luxurious life. please use your platform to spread awareness.
Janelle T there is a lot of wastage involved as the clothes get thrown away quicker. They probably don’t get their products from ethical source eg cows and sheep being mistreated.
@@ehorses2729 really I like fast fashion because it’s cheap and I still have clothes from 6-7 years ago that look as new. And although I should shop more ethical it’s difficult because a basic white shirt is at least $55 when I go to Marshall’s and get the same looking white shirt for $4
Janelle T yes, I know it’s hard to shop at more expensive clothing stores, but try and look for ones that are on the cheaper side and assure you they are ethical, I’m sure there are some around, like thrift stores, buying second hand clothing is always good!
Before we get excited about cheap clothes, I think we have a responsibility to research why the prices are so low. Unfortunately, factory workers and mistreated and the environment is negatively affected :(. Thank you for mentioning it in your video and bringing awareness !
Imagine being one of the most genuine humans on earth and getting attacked for every single thing even though you try your best to be the most understanding and educated😅I don’t envy you Colleen. No wonder you stay away from the comments.
@@Something-is5rzIt isn’t about this video specifically it’s about what her channel has turned into which is basically “Watch me fill up all the landfills for fun!” She can’t claim to be “woke” and then continue to make these kind of videos it makes her look ignorant.
To clarify, I don't normally order from sites like this, but am in need of a very specific looking top for a performance, and in my searching on google, good options from Shein kept popping up. But I kept saying "I don't trust them..." and closing the tab.
The joy that Colleen had when she saw that gun toy thing and said “Flynn come here I have a present for you! It’s a good one!” Brought me so much joy and fulfilment you guys don’t even know.
