You should totally do a coral tank. Edit: As for the Naso Tang, they are primarily herbivores, so a diet heavy in algae and/or veggies is a must. Edit 2: The Queen Angel should be named Freddy, after the late, great, Freddy Mercury.
Video idea: hook up with a random subscriber, give them a budget, and take them on a virtual shopping trip to a fish store, and let them pick out what you buy. 💙
This ain't my channel lol but I do gta say after watching the fellas for a couple years now tht is one of the best ideas I've herd in a min..n Chris an Jack plz shout this out ..fish guys an gals for life ..
Tangs like seaweed. a seaweed sheet might do. Other than that, you might need to give it to him at the bottom because he might just not like coming up to the glass.
U put sheets of seaweeds.... 1000 fish shopping spree challenge...... That would be epic...... Freshwater fish ponds I'm excited to see the sturgeon fish ....
While I do miss Pots & Pans, moving them out and converting this tank was by far the best idea you guys have had💯 As for new fish, how about adding a few of those Wrasse you're always catching at your favorite spot. They come in a variety of colors and sizes, very active and the best part, they're free!😁
What plants might that be? Mangrove might work. Macroalgae will get eaten by the tangs. Corals are not plants. This tank looks to have insufficient lighting for corals and anemones. The would need to buy some actual reef lighting fixtures. Before corals they should try seeding the tank with coralline algae first, if it doesn't grow, nothing will. Keeping the parameters stable for corals and dosing in such a large tank can also be difficult if you don't have previous experience. The angels, especially the Queen angel, can also be highly destructive to corals, might even nip anemones.
You know we can collect Queen, French, Blue and Gray Angels locally (with the right permits). Even at Red Rocks you can collect fish while snorkeling… typically smaller fish that close in shore, but you never know. The blonde Nash should be eating everything. Are you putting sheets of Nori in the pond? Call the store you bought him at and see what he was feeding on. A lot of the LFS here pellet train the fish. The good news is it will start eating when it gets hungry enough.
I’m not sure that yall will see this but i would love to see a parrot fish in the pond. it would look great with all the colors or some corals to help the rocks pop
1. Tangs need algae. Sheets of Nori (seaweed) will do but some will only eat from the bottom. 2. No anemones until you get adequate high intensity lighting or theyll quickly bleach out and lose colour. Also be prepared to target feed big nems a shrimp occasionally.
Here is an idea! For a battle spend the wheel to pick your lure you. Certain lures give you points, and at the end whoever has more points wins something along those lines.
Green star polyps and other soft corals would be fine on the rocks in your saltwater pond put some nice decent lights above it nothing expensive and they will grow. Soft Corals Don’t need a lot.
Definitely would have loved to see one fish worth $1000. That would have been sick, an also a banger video title which in turn would have made for a hit video no doubt. Gotta do that soon! 💯👍🏽
I dont understand why you guys dont get involved with the rest of the youtube comunity in florida, Paul Cuffaro is a Legend and such a down to earth person, him and his friends are Legends.
Honestly I just can’t wait till y’all get the $1000 shopping spree but man y’all should do either a huge mystery box or go super crazy 1 time and buy like 20 fish at 1 time for this
Do a coral grow out tank so you can turn the reef pond into an actual reef after they grow out it would look so sick with real coral all through the pond
Yes seaweed for the fish would be great! Also, u called out Elizabeth so that name sounds great. Maybe Lizzie for short! Keep up the great work, guys, loving ur videos so much!!!
