In this video, I test a product from a brand called Krave Beauty, and since filming it’s come out that the owner of the brand has made some very anti LGBTQ+ statements and choices. This is not something I would ever knowingly support or condone, and I apologize to any of my LGBTQ+ followers who may have felt hurt by my showing that brand on camera. Big thank you to any of you who took the time to let me know via comments or DM. I’ve read up on the situation and will not be supporting Krave Beauty moving forward. I’ve also removed the affiliate link to the product from my page. Thank you, and please keep holding me accountable and educating me on situations like this, I truly appreciate it 💕
Thank you for listening. I know that in YT studio, it gives you the option of editing the video. If you could put a note in the actual video, that would also be good. I just say that because some people won't even go to the comments, and might try the product based on its feature.
And she apologized several times. Take that apology or leave it, seriously, this is cancel culture. Disappointed that you let yourself be bullied by redditors ...
@@Completetwilightfan What is the valid question? Why is she using a product from another youtuber who made a mistake and apologized for it and took steps to undo the harm she may have caused?
I used to buy bags of varied frozen veggies, steam them, and throw them in the blender. Can also just put random veggies in the oven until soft and then blend. Fruit are even easier, if they're soft just throw them in the blender like a smoothie. I would "meal prep" big batches and then freeze them in ice trays. Would recommend. (I did still use jarred baby food too, especially for tossing in the diaper bag).
Hello! Smoothie maker here - if you want a better texture to your smoothies and to save some space in your blender, use the orange juice from the orange instead of water in your smoothies! Water can ruin the taste and texture of your smoothies. Oranges can too! If you don’t want to you use orange juice you can use coconut milk, other fruit juice, milks, etc as a liquid substitute that’ll make it not so icy and watered down. Be sparing with the ice or it can make it slushee consistency not like a smoothie!(: you only need like 4oz of liquid to blend a smoothie without it being watery! just thought I’d throw that out in case you wanted to try some different stuff for your smoothies!(:
For everything but the bagel seasoning it’s way cheaper at Trader Joe’s or grocery stores often have their own version. Also highly recommend making some homemade French fries in an air fryer or oven with just potatoes and olive oil then covering them in the seasoning. It always tastes so good.
So jealous. Australia doesn't have it so either gotta buy all the ingredients in packets/jars yourself or order it from America which is like $70 for a little jar😂
I came to look for this comment because I also died when she said $8 because it’s sooo cheap. And even though TJs is the OG, you can get it at like any grocery store now... NEVER pay $8
Hey just a tip from a breastfeeding mama. If you’re planning on breastfeeding keep oats on hand. They worked really well for me keeping up my milk supply.
@@MarsPunka I’m what I like to call. Fish belly white (I basically glow in the dark) and my parents have natural lights in their bathroom and every time I look in the mirror I look like I’m dieing and look so unhealthy. Does natural light make anyone look good or is that just for interior design looks 😂😅
@@fallenangelforever I was commenting on natural light because Sierra brought it up in the video, saying her natural lighting makes her look good without the extra light
I make the Oats Overnight last longer by doing half a packet and adding regular rolled oats to make up the other half! Makes it much less expensive and I prefer the consistency (but I like eating it with a spoon!)
You can actually make your own overnight oats and it’s delicious! I use oats, cinnamon, maple syrup, almond milk, blueberries and slivered almonds! I eat it every single day for breakfast 😋
I know it isn’t why you bought it, but the light would be great to keep in your car if you needed light when stranded on the side of the road. It would definitely light up whatever you were trying to see without being something huge to keep with you.
I love the oats overnight. You can completely customize your packs- just talk to them through live chat or email. That is probably my favorite part. My #1 favorite is peach upside down cake or any of the fruit ones... especially the green apple cinnamon.
I bought some chocolate oat milk at trader joe’s and wasn’t sure what to use it for yet (but couldn’t resist the chocolate temptation) but overnight oats is genius. thanks for the idea!
The overnight oats will be perfect when you have you baby! ☺️ it’s quick and easy and I found that oats helped with my breastmilk production (in case you’re planning to breastfeed) 💕
The blend jet is one of the guarenteed products in the spring 2021 welcome causebox. It’s $49.99 per quarter and it’s all products that are good for the environment, pay a living wage, and most give to charities as well. For the price of the blend jet being $75, you basically get the entire purchase price back, and then some, with just the blend jet and everything else is icing.
Skip to 4:00 to pass the Fabletics thing we already all know about :)) The more I hear about it the more I don't want to buy them anymore... P.S. I am not saying anything about Sierra, I love her. The brand is what annoys me.
I feel like the selfie light didnt work for you as well as you hoped, because of lighter skin tones reflecting light more than darker skin tones. So it could make a lighter skin toned person very washed out. HOWEVER i think it would be cool to use that selfie light with a colored film over it. Like yellow or orange for a glow affect or blue or red to bring out the richness in some darker skin tones. I think the selfie light could be good but it might need some experimenting.😄
Great video!!!! Love these kinds of videos. Just an FYI, ALL blenders are self-cleaning with water and a bit of soap no matter how cheap or expensive they are. I am not sure about those overnight oats. You can get 1 pound of oats in the bulk section at the grocery store for $.99. That is a TON more than 8 servings!
Hey Sierra, try pre-soaking your chia seeds in a little container in the fridge. The dry chia seeds pulls liquids into itself (12x it's volume). If you don't pre soak it can actually be pulling liquid from inside your system.. if you use a lot that can actually block you up pretty well or dehydrate you. If you pre soak you get the added hydration benefits of the chia seeds plus the protein.
Hey it's good practice to pre soak the chia seeds so you activate them but they will not draw liquid from your system, they lose that ability when they reach the stomach because of the digestive acids
Remi said that the Everything but the bagel seasoning gets really salty at the end, so she makes her own. I freaking love Remi. Whenever I watch her videos, I'm just always smiling. And now my bf watches all of your& Stephen's vlogs, and Remis vlogs with me, and if I ever watch without him and he hears, he will always say "Hey! What's Sierra& Stephen doing? I wanna know too!" And get all annoyed with me and make me start the video over🤣🤣🤣 He seriously loves you guys. And Emma chamberlain. 🤣🤣
Not sure if the cordless aspect of it is what is selling you on it but if that’s not the case the sboly blender from Amazon is $25 and works really well and also takes up very little space since it’s a personal blender! It blends ice better than my normal sized blender, and works just as well as my mom’s ninja
you can clean basically any blender by just blending hot water and soap (or at least I do); I only have to actually scrub if I use powder of any kind because it will sometimes stick to the sides
Sierra - the best part of the overnight oats thing is that you can do this super easy and MUCH more economical by using plain flaked oats (not instant) and adding the flavorings you like. SO GOOD!
I think you should review the brand “girlfriend” for a video! it’s a brand that’s eco friendly and is very size inclusive. it’s an athletic brand with leggings, sports bras and more. i would love to see what you think PLEASE DO THIS🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️
Hey Sierra, just wanted to clear up that the oats overnight isn’t actually plant based protein but contains whey protein which is animal protein It contains milk which may be interesting for allergy or diet reasons
Speaking of products RU-vidr's swear by, I recently purchased the massage eye mask that you talk about a lot on your vlogs!! I bought it for my partner who deals with chronic headaches and he really likes it so thank you for the solid recommendation!!
@@karenrogers4860 I asked my partner and he says it helps! To clarify though, he still takes medication too to alleviate pain, so it doesn't 100% solve the issue. But he used to have to take meds AND take like a 40min shower under hot water to clear the headaches, which he doesn't do anymore! He just takes meds and uses the eye massager now. :-) Hope that helps!
@@maddyrevenge hey sorry, i replied to your comment yesterday but i guess i accidentally just replied to myself instead! you can view my reply in the comment thread tho!!
Btw, I am a nutritional yeast FIIIIIIIEND now🤣🤣🤣 I've literally forced everyone in my life to try it(a roasted cauliflower recipe specifically) and everyone loves it. The only problem I've ran into, is that my grocery stores don't have big enough bags🤣🤣🤣
@@kirsten9729 I don't have any measurements, but its roasting cauliflower with garlic, LOTS of nutritional yeast, salt&pepper, avocado oil, garlic powder, & onion powder. I roast it at 450 for 20-25min. And I mix up everything except the nutritional yeast, put it onto a sheet pan, then sprinkle nutritional yeast on top, both before and after roasting.
@@AKbaby89 Okay yum!! Totally trying this. I just put in on popcorn, and my bf teases me b/c we have a big bag that he says we'll never ever get through. Your recipes sounds great! Thank you (:
I just wanna add my two cents here. I eat Oats Overnight every morning for breakfast, I really loved Cristine's Mint Chocolate Chip flavor, it's actually my second favorite after the Mocha (The Mocha has caffeine in it so I drink that and it replaces breakfast and coffee so it's a twofer). I am just one of those people who hates a big breakfast or really any breakfast that I can't drink and the oats have been a game changer for me. It really helps me feel full without taking up time and energy and without making me feel sick, as food tends to do in the morning. I highly recommend them to everyone to at least try. I actually put in about 12 oz of milk in mine because I like mine more liquidy but everyone has their ideal amount.
Make your own overnight oats - 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup of milk 1/4 Greek yogurt 1 tbsp chia seeds Drop of vanilla Then add any toppings - fruit and peanut butter, banana and cinnamon, etc Mix it up and store in an airtight container overnight. Enjoy 👌
Rolled oats if you're good at making it the night before. Steel cut or quick oats if you want to make it when you get up in the morning and have it read in 30-60 minutes. (the milk won't be fully incorporated, but IMO it's good enough)
I'm so glad you reviewed the Blendjet 2. I've been thinking about one of those for a while. Glad to know it's not as functional for frozen fruit, since that's all I really use. Might still get one for travel, though!! Gotta grab some Everything But The Bagel seasoning, too! 😂
i think its hilarious that they call the cleaning feature a self cleaning feature. you can do that with any blender on the market. such a weird thing they are grasping.
Hey Sierra! I know everyone is mentioning using the blender for baby food, but I HIGHLY encourage you to check out Baby Led Weaning. Baby Led Weaning for Beginners and Beyond is a great group to check out, if you have a Facebook. There is also LOTS of Instagram accounts related to BLW as well.
I have a blender like that from Amazon and absolutely love it! You have to tip it upside when you press the button so it can really get the chunks and then you can turn it right side up. You also should shake it while it's going to help. You can then add the rest of the chunks on top when it's done blending so you don't waste anything!
I got a blendjet 2 for xmas last year as facebook sucked me in. I love the heck out of it and use it almost everyday, it is definitely a game changer. Im constantly on the go from gym, to work, to college, and to my job while also working for doordash as a side hustle. If you arent on the go it is still useful for making those healthy smoothies, shakes and/or even adult beverages for those of age (Im 29 so I can say it works for adult beverages too). Blendjet kept me eating (or drinking in this case) healthy as it is fun, easy to use and I have lost a significant amount of weight as well. Definitely worth the buy for anyone who is still skeptical :D thanks for the blendjet nod Sierra!
I’ve tried Fabletics since Sierra has raved about them and love it!! I cannot get enough. My brother and boyfriend tried the men’s line and love it just as much! 🤩
Those overnight oats are gonna be so nice when the baby comes! You could grab it in the morning (or 4am) when you're hungry. If you choose to/can breastfeed, it'll be nice to sip on during sessions, and oats are good for milk production.
Unfortunately, simply's oats are not plant based! Hers used whey protein. However, the company does have plant based options with high protein options too. As someone who has a dairy allergy it made me sad 😭 cause I love simply so I hope they come out with a plant based version of this soon
The everything but the bagel seasoning is sold at Aldi ( which is Trader Joe's low end store ) for $1.99 at least here in Ohio. I buy it all the time because it makes everything better
i love those type of long review videos because especially during lockdown its nice and relaxing to watch longer videos that are kinda calm. So thank you :3
The seasoning can go on veggies and potatoes too. i like to roast veg in the oven or air fryer for meals with the EBTB seasoning on it as an all in one dump type of seasoning. chefs kiss
Really? I’ve been debating getting it but it’s 20 bucks. Is it worth it,if you don’t mind me asking? And my skin is kinda dry, is yours like that? If you don’t feel comfortable talking about it I understand! Thank you
yeah, my skin is pretty dry but it works great for me personally! it was originally 8 dollars on amazon when i first got it, so i’m pretty sure the 20 dollar one is a pack of two? i think it’s worth it because it really hydrated my skin (plus it smells amazing!)
Perhaps a dumb suggestion, but regarding the portable light as the diffuser is magnetic maybe it exists some colored diffusers that would tint the lightning a bit and make it more natural?
I go through Everything but the Bagel like water! Everyone in my house loves it on everything! It’s amazing on cottage cheese, eggs, avocado toast, baked potato slices...it adds texture and crunch as well as flavor.
@@osioneoseni-elamah4161 yeah that’s why I referenced it. Just because she liked it doesn’t necessarily mean she used it specifically for this video, which is why I asked 😅
i can't help but feel that it'd be cheaper to just use garlic powder and onion powder and that basically gives the same effect as the everything but the bagel seasoning. of course doesn't have the seed aspect but as someone who eats everything bagels frequently i say, the two powders get the job done for avocado toast
Hi! I love your videos! whenever i feel self conscious and upset about my body, i watch one of your videos. you are so confident and happy and it really inspires me to keep working so i can get to that point. thank you for everything you do. and i’m so happy that you’re having a baby!!!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
I tried the Oats Overnight because of Cristine and have become a big fan. The consistency took a couple days to get used to, but now I love having a tasty, healthy breakfast that's easy to make and easy to graze on in the morning while I'm working.
After Simply posted about the oats I got the subscription box for my teen & myself. We enjoy all the different flavors & with a subscription box it brings the cost down per serving!
I've always loved your videos that past few years my 4year old daughter loves your videos as well. I have endometriosis which is Similar to pcos so it's nice to have another thing to relate to you on hopefully your pcos pains aren't as bad but if soo I know the pain and you've got a lot of us out here who relate on that level
Another great product for lighting that is small, and I personally love, is a speed light for your camera! Great for fill flash and brighting photos even when you are back lit!
