Today i went into Lowes and Home Depot and picked up a few supplied for doing some work on the van this coming week. Super excited to instal the walls in the van.

How about one of those spinning fans they have on Police dog vans?. Would look in-keeping and keep your little buddy and you fresh. Love the more exspensive flooring too.

My Little Guy grabs me by the wrist like that when he wants to keep me in place. When I yell Owwwww You're Too Rough!!! He relents and licks my wrist til it is all better. Every day. These are our rituals.

I really needed a Disco fix today. That lil dog gives me tooth aches cuz he is just soooooo sweet! I am going to look for a breeder. I need my own lil buddy to hang around with. Can’t wait to see the build!

Went to the garage yesterday to pick up my car after getting the snow tires off. The owner had a pit bull dog too. (named Wilson) Made me think of Disco 😍

Faye White ~ we’ve had a very hard winter here in Northern BC to the point where they extended the winter tire law. Normally we have to have our studded winters off by the end of April but this year we have to keep them on until the end of May. All of the snow is melting so it’s pretty dirty and mucky out. I’ve always wanted an English Bulldog. Before my vow of minimalism I used to have all of the figurines, trinkets and other such things ~ loved to look at them, hated dusting them. I’m going for the real thing now! Maybe a pair.

If you go with a roof fan, paint the exterior cover in flat black. Makes it nearly invisible at night.

Gary Bryant they make the smoked black ones.. I have 2 of them , makes them nearly invisible in the dark. And set on low they hardly make any noise

Hey Chrome, you need sheet metal screws. And don't forget your furings. That would be the long strips of wood that you mount to the ribs in the walls of your van. You should have 3 or 4 furing strips about 2 feet apart and running the length of your walls. If you don't use furings, your panels may warp.

Good planning, Chrome! Looks like it will all come together well for ya. If you do go the route of a Max Air fan, be sure to get one with a remote control for when you are sleeping at night; makes it easier to shut off if you’re getting shut eye and don’t want it on. Best wishes!

When you do the roof do 3m foam glue spray then single panel plywood. Thin foam then the fabric most vans do the sides then have a consle in the middle to run the lights and hide the corners as you will need modling watched a video of a guy doing it cant find it to share had step by step on how to do it right

Disco hanging on to your sneaker reminds me of a clip from an old movie, "The Gods Must Be Crazy II" where a small animal has his jaw clamped down on our hero's boot as he's walking through the desert after his plane crashes. Funny movie. Should watch the original "The Gods Must Be Crazy" first. Both are classic comedies.

I heard other van dwellers say that black draws heat it makes it hotter in the Sun. And the fans even though it would make things cooler on the inside during the hot weather. It's not stealthy anymore...BUT, you do need to have a way to keep the van cool... I'm sure you'll figure something out. That works for you
