I've learned so much from LSP....helped me save money, time, and frasturation getting my studio up and running. If you are just starting....you are in the right place to setup your perfect studio!!!
Hey lauria - my choices were driven by budget... I didn't have any. So I kept it as basic as possible. My mobile phone ( a cheap Android ) and a lavalier mic. Throw in a few table lights and a thrift shop spot light and I was making my first videos. My 'studio' cost less than $30 ( I already had the phone ) Even now 2 years later I still buy just basic stuff. So my GAS is under control. Just the odd parp now and then when I see a deal😃😃 LOving your channel
@@LiveStreamingPros thank you for what you do. Do you have any advice for someone who’s an introvert who really wants to start a RU-vid channel. I have a lot of gear and never put any of it to use besides learning the gear in my safe space ☺️
I am only a few moments into the video & I fought myself on it year after year. Stopping buying stuff until I am in posolition to use it. I thought I was very to go last year but a combination of medical issues has meant that I am incapable of starting - yet again. Albeit using micro$oft $hitkey which constantly rewrites what I am saying into nonsense isn't helping, right now. I started by buying a couple of camera's specifically 2×Sony Xperia 1 both of which had damaged screens, but otherwise I could work around to shoot with. I have SAD and my existing panels are dying so in black Friday last year I bought a 3 panel set of Amaran P60c. I have also bought a bunch aputure light bulbs in sales. I've bought part of a cold storage box with a bunch of shuckable drives. Right now I am waiting for Insta360 to release either RS2 360 1" or the X4. Got to go CFS is forcing me to sleep Gtg sorry
When I acquired my equipment, I knew that I wanted an iMac, but when I bought mine, the next month they went to M1 chips! 🤦🏽♂️ But I paid big money to have a beefy computer. I also knew that I wanted a Rødecaster Pro 2, a Røde Procaster mic, an Elgato Streamdeck Plus, a Sony ZV-E10 (White), an Elgato Key Light, and iPad Pro (I’m waiting to purchase this next year when the new one releases). In all, I got exactly what I wanted (and needed) to make videos, and Livestream. I will be upgrading my iMac to a beefy iMac Studio with the 6K monitor next year, and purchase the Apple 5K monitor as a 3rd screen with the iPad Pro. At this point, I don’t need anything else but another camera, and that can wait.
I have wasted so much money on gear that i stopped buying anything at all unless i have 100% planned and commited to a goal which i know for a fact will help me and not a second earlier.
