I have never been addicted to drugs. I did like taking Xanax. But it was easy to stop taking it. BUT, and this is a BIG but. I am addicted to sugar. I love almost anything sweet. I am a diabetic because I burnt out my pancreas, eating so many sugar products. I recall many times just eating sugar out of the sugar bag. I now keep my sugar cravings back. I will fall right off the wagon if I eat anything made with lots of sugar. For me, it is an incredible feeling when I dose up on sugar. My Doctor said sugar for me is like cocaine. It spins my brain up. I get fantastic energy if I get too much sugar intake. The first time I found out I was diabetic, I was an AC1 or 14.1. If you were to cut a vein, granulated sugar would come pouring out.
