A better way for the manufacturer to express the capability of the battery is to refer to "time" rather than mileage. For example, a certain size person could expect a range of 1 or 2 hours (or 4, 6 hours, etc.). Nice scooter.

I can understand your point. But, I have to disagree. I feel like mileage is better since it gives a more consistent number. Especially, since all of the estimates is based on weight, terrain, weather, speed of the scooter. Since time is subjective, for example if person A uses scooter to go direct to the destination vs person B using the scooter on the bus. They'll both have different hours used.

Yes! This scooter is approved for airline travel. You should be able to ride it all the way up to the gate, there they would store it on the plane.

I changed my scooter for the first time today and on the charging box it's blinking red and green does that mean it's fully charged?

Blinking red and green means that it is about full and to give it a little while longer to finish charging.

Let it charge till both are green and go for a long ride to partially discharge the battery then charge it up again. That will let your first long term ride have max range. I

You really should charge and fully discharge your battery into the yellow/red area for the first 5-10 charging cycles. That will create good memory in the battery and start you out for having the longest battery life you can have. Also remember that if you have a few green lights gone on your indicator and you know your not going to be travelling far or using a lot of battery, don't charge it everyday. Use the battery till its discharged to the yellow/red area and then fully charge it. Your battery should last for years to come if doing this. Just like a gas tank in your car, you don't want to fill up and travel a mile down the road to Walmart then on your way home topping of your tank, that's the same as plugging your charger in to your unit when its not needed. Only hurts the battery.

Are you speaking about getting a new set of batteries in the battery box of the scooter? If so, you would remove the battery box off the unit, take the screws out which would allow the top of the box to be removed and then disconnect battery cables and swap out batteries. Reinstall cables and the top of the box and put it back on the unit and should allow the scooter to drive. Hope this is what you were looking for.
