Here from 2019 literally no clue you had long hair before kinda awesome to see both before after and also just the growth in general

I think every woman should shave her head at least once. The feeling is absolutely freeing. I think so many women are oppressed by their hair because society has told us that it’s more important than it really is.

I ALWAYS wanted to shave my head, since I was a little girl. But people are so judgemental, at my school, in my village, even in my family. So yeah I am scared shitless, but I want to do it so badlyyy, but I don't know if I'm confident enough to take it.

I'm about to shave my head too because i want to donate every piece of my hair.. it is scary but the support I get from my boyfriend is amazing. I'm not sure I would have enough courage without him.

Gorgeous!! I shaved off all my hair once with my boyfriend's buzzer one day lol I was just sick of all the damage n stuff. Then after I buzzed it I took some of his shaving cream n got a razor n had a total bald skin head, it was cool i felt like a total Alien princess lol but yea it was definitely like one of the most liberating feelings ever! I shaved mine right down to my head without a guard on the buzzers and it already has grown so much. Pretty much exactly like you, I had been wanting to for a super long time but never did it. I'm super excited to try out all the hairstyles as it grows out.

I honestly really dislike short hair on girls, because I love long, wild hair and I love how it makes women look so wild and free, but you look SO good with short hair!

GOOD FOR YOU....I know this is way late, but I believe as a woman with short hair, every woman should give short hair a try, some think they can't pull it off but EVERY WOMAN CAN PULL OFF SHORT HAIR....its so liberating, a huge weight off your body, and the next day after the cut you wake up and your like oh shit!!! i don't have to do anything, and its so time saving and hair product saving as well....KEEP IT ...ITS AWESOME

A couple years ago, in my 60s, I shaved my head (with dog clippers). Everyone hated it but I loved it. I kept it buzzed for about a year and loved how cooling it was in the summer, how fast I could shower and I just felt FREE. Also I was mourning the coming death of my terminally I'll daughter so it was very cathartic. I do not and never did regret it. Interesting side note... my hair had been like a blondish gray but after I buzzed my head it grew back in a beautiful snow white. I loved the new white color. This comments is years after your experience. I trust it was helpful to you as well. You look great with it short.

Floyd's barbershops are so cool,took a friend of mine to the one in Maryland she cut over 27 inches to a very short undercut pixie,looked awesome.

From 2019 - Cutting your isn't a big deal unless you feel your hair is a part of your identity. It's hair. It grows back. My has has down past my ass and in a crew cut. Other people had an issue with me cutting my hair, but I never did. The one question I hated was - Did you ask your husband/boyfriend first? No. It isn't his hair, it's mine and I shall with it as I choose. :-)

I did it this year after dying it and finding it terrible then. And since then I feel so much better, I am even thinking to re-shave my head instead of letting my hair grow but on the other hand I kinda miss my hair. It is an experience everyone should make. Amazing. I long ago had long thick hair...cut against my asking. I specifically wanted JUST THE TIP. From waist length cut to my midneck.!😪it messed me up. It grew alittle then life went on .🌺 Chemo took it now it's alittle long. Your final overall reaction was way better than mine was. The expierence as I was cutting it off though I related with! I did mine myself and Finally am feeling comfortable with it after it now being short over three years. The lightness of weight is mainly why I keep it short :) feels so much better than having tons of hair ! I really want to do this. I'm so scared. I've had such a dark past and I've always had long to medium hair and I've felt like if I buzz off my hair itll give me a fresh start in life, itll help me move on from my past that I'm so stuck on but I'm so scared of people looking at me and what people at work would say. Highly recommend getting a pixie cut at least once in your life! Maybe you’ll keep it like Olivia or maybe you’ll grow it out, but it’s such an experience.
