This was an excellent video.I was going to get the Superbox Pro but now Im going to get the Buzz Box.Thank You for the hard work to make this video for all of us.
Good quest but wrong models to compare. It is like asking which car is good a 4 engine SUV or 18 wheeler truck. X5 128AL is S905X4 QuadeCore chip with 4GB DDR4 RAM, 128GB storage, OS11 buzztv5. And BT400 remote with remote app for customization in the box. XRS4900 is S922X HexaCore chip with 4GB DDR4 and 128GB storage, space under it for a laptop HD SSD ir Sata3 upto 2TB. OS 9.0 buzztv 5. These are the main differences.
They need to change the ui, it’s ugly and they keep coming up with new boxes every month, but great 👍 review, i been watching your channel since the Apple TV days
I like your comment, they need to keep things different, the Ui is very customizable, but again its just one brand. when it comes to Models I leave it with buzztv to figure out why so many, or so many less.
@@Theskullsplaylist I seen only 64 GB model on dongle hd5 buzztv n it have USB ports n hard wiring ports as well n hearing it be 99 bucks for dongle on may 19 plus 4 GB ram on dongle as well
@@DonaldDnicefromtwitcH they had it on their site where I seen it comeing and your dead on with 4g 32 gig for 99 what difference bt200 remote and the new one
factory reset your remote first, press the 0 and down arrow for 4 seconds. you will see the light on the top will blink few times, then use the remote as IR go to Smart remote app and click on pair then follow the guide.
Thanks for the review, I saw on portal about BuzzTV X5 output as 4k75Hz with HDR and 4k120Hz non HDR but in video it is showing 60hz, does it changes with settings
As per buzztv tech team it can work on 120hz, 75hz. My capturing shows 60hz max. That is just our android settings. I don't want you get confused, the 75fps is for AV1 and 120 is also for decoding.
I really love the box, but sucks that Peacock App is not compatible and Netflix have to be controlled with the air mouse. I don't think it have Dolby atmos but it's good box
that app you are mentioning is outlawed on RU-vid we can not help you on how to get it. I know other RU-vidrs have videos but they didn't get hit yet, we did.
This unit have something called CEC by default it is on. When you trun off your TV the unit also turns off, try it and let's know. Please don't ask same question under all videos you are spamming our videos with same question.
@@xctechs I already know if I turn off my tv the box turns off. I used to own a Formuler Z8, and it had a dedicated 'Power Off' option from within the launcher, it is a feature you should consider adding to the BuzzTV launcher Also, you need to add a 'Mute' button to BUZZTV X5 remote control. Not sure why a $200 box does not have a 'Mute' button in its remote control??
@@ytb3748 I do not have Z8, can you tell me which OS they are running since on there website they are scared to write it down. It seems Z8 is running SOP software OS 7 or 9 which HDCP running only as 1080p and CEC can be faked so power options are easy to manipulate.
@@xctechs Good Q, my older Formuler Z8 was 4 years old. When I first bought it back in 2018, it came with OS 7. The 'Power Off' option was not part of Android settings menu, they added it to their launcher as an icon which was very convenient.
