I thought I would show you some parts of the BWI trail so you see if it’s something for you and your family or friends. With a 5year old and an 8year old we did this trail in 1 hour and a half with about 4 snack breaks lol.
We get on our bikes and it’s like the whole world is just for us. These little guys road 12 miles around the BWI airport with us today. With planes taking off right over us you could almost feel the vibration. Biking, walking, running-everyone is welcome. Most of the trail is along the road but some parts go thru trees and parks and even past a horse farm. The track goes around the airport (so no shortcuts) and it is nice and flat with nothing too steep or hard. All of the cross over the roads are at intersections that have traffic signals or over bridges built especially for the bikes / hikers , walkers , joggers .
