I didn't realize just how much I was smiling while watching this video until my husband walked into the room and ' WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT' until he heard your voice, OH THAT'S THE CHRISTMAS CANADIAN LADY. And I can't wait until vlogmas. Rhinebeck is so beautiful.

Hello there. I love your channel. It’s nice to see you and your husband together. I hope you had a great time at the knitting show. It’s nice to see you back. Please don’t stay away so long. Hi Sandy I live within driving distance to Rhinebeck and I guess I'm amazed at the hit of cider doughnuts we have them all the time so when you're in the area again any of the orchard stands you pass will likely have them don't wait in that line for1/2 the day

This was a great recap of your weekend!!! Seeing all your knitting friends and podcasters had to be the best part of it. Your knitting projects are all wonderful I've made about 3 triangle wraps, I just take my time they do take a long time to finish. I have one for myself and the others were claimed by my daughter and friend 🙂 which I love. So happy you will do vlogmasses again this year. Yours are a wonderful highlight to my advent days 🙂😍

Great recap full of positive vibes!! Funny story. I was drooling over your wrap during the vlog section so I went over to your Ravelry page to see what it was. Ha! It’s been in my own library since 2018! I think I need to get on with making one of those. Yours is gorgeous. I’m so glad you guys had a good time at Rhinebeck. I’ve never been to Rhinebeck but I live in Maryland so I go to Maryland Sheep and Wool every year, which is actually very similar. Thanks for sharing your adventures. WOW the sites are so beautiful. I was so happy when you said you were doing Vlogmas!!! Your husband, Glen is a HOOT. He was funny at that festival. Standing there waiting under the umbrella but not complaining. Y’all are a precious couple you have such a precious family your 2 boys are so adorable. Rhinebeck is so pretty. So enjoyable to watch Sandy. It is great to get ideas based on the patterns and yarns that you talk about. Since your last podcast I have cast on the "On the C Train" hat using Chelsea Luxe Baby Alpaca Worsted in Christina's Apres Ski colorway from last winter held with her mohair in First Snow. It is going to be beautiful.

I am so inspired by your knitting projects! Your taste is very similar to mine so you're always giving me great ideas. However, as you know, there's also a place in our wardrobes for store-bought sweaters. And I love that blue cardigan you're wearing. Could I ask you where you found it?

You said the yarn was fingering weight for the 2nd ave wrap. Did you double strand it, cause it looks thicker than fingering weight. What needle size did you use. I really like it though, especially with the color changes.

The link to my project is in the description box. It is fingering, single stranded. I can’t remember the needle size but it is whatever the pattern asks for and on my project page, too.

@@bythelakeside Thanks, I’ll check it out. I’m on Ravelry again, magicalbeadsny. It’s fun to watch the blogs from Sheep and Wool festival, but can be depressing. I would love to go but would need tons of cash. I would have to take Amtrak at Penn station just to get up there, as I don’t drive. Since I live on the border of the Bronx. I was able to take Subway down for NYC yarn crawl. I’ve worked allot with Purls Linen Quill. I did there Gradient cowl. I was lucky to get a skein of Yarn Over New York fingering weight yarn. Kitty City had the Artist who hand dyed the yarn there for last day of the crawl. I’m double stranding the yarn to make Purls Simple Pleasures Hat. I used to knit sweaters in the 80’s, Mom sewed them up for me. I only do scarves, cowls and hats now. I used to have a website to sell my hand knit and jewelry designs.

Love your video! Very nice recap for those of us who couldn’t attend. I just have one comment. The explanation on the screen of who you were photographed with was on and off too fast. Was not able to read it properly.

Thank you, I noticed that too. I think it’s because they were photos (not videos) and I don’t think I could extend the time they appear. At least I wasn’t sure of how, but thank you for the feedback.
