I bought Atto3 recently with the main intention of having driving comfort. But I am regretting it now due to the following reasons. 1. My back is sweating if I drive the car even for 1 hour and there is no use even if I turn on full AC. I am feeling very uncomfortable to drive after an hour and long drives might cause even more discomfort to me. This defeats the very purpose of my buying this car. 2. I recently dashed another car slightly during a traffic jam. The car's technology did not apply automatic break although it was claimed so by the company. So, the safety has become a concern now. 3. BYD's roadside assistance is very basic as the customer has to pay for any damage that happens during towing. In my case, I was asked to pay around 3.5 lakhs for towing damages. Because the insurance pays only for accidental damage but not for the towing damage. So, I am made responsible for the damage caused by BYD. I did not even complete my first 1000 km. I am now wondering what I gained by buying this car. ...

नीरज जी, Electric कारों के बारे में जानकारी आपको ज्यादा नहीं है, आपके लेख से समझ में आता है, लेकिन आपको किसने कहा कि warranty के बाद बदलनी पड़ेगी? जिसने कहा उसको knowledge ही नहीं है. Engine की Warranty 3 साल होती है, लेकिन चलता 15 साल से ज्यादा है... वैसे ही lfp battery life का है, resales India की अभी तक नहीं हुयी है, बाकी दुनिया में ic engine से बहुत ज्यादा है, क्योंकि 8-10 सालों के बाद कोई भी petrol engine वाली कार नहीं लेगा, लेंगे सिर्फ electric, तब आप किसको बेचेंगे? Resale तो गिरेगी ही.

@@AskCarGuru Thank you for your response Amit ji. Agree with what you said, but how many can afford at that price range. In fact, I was expecting established vendors in mass automobile segment, to launch some electric ones in the affordable range, but there is none other than Tata and few from Mahindra. Maruti Suzuki, Toyota are in deep sleep it seems.
Actually Indian market is not divided into any categories.. Like elite, economy, Middle class, premium... They are buying according to the requirements.
