BYD is for sure not the first manufacturer using a BMS system which monitors the battery temperature. Every EV manufacturer does implement temperature control into their BMS's. It just shows how much you know about the things you present. Next to nothing it seems.

Tesla is installing BYD batteries since early this month in Berlin (Model Y). By the way the question is not the energy density of the chemistry as such but energy density of the overall battery back (weight and space requierements per kwh). That's where a blade battery is wasting less on "packaging" and overall the battery pack is lighter and less spacious per kWh . Even Tesla is acknowledging this - Tesla Y model manufactured in Berlin.

I have one in my BYD Atto 3 and it works very well. The safety aspect has already been proven so nothing to disappoint in their adaption that I'm aware.

You know all those cargo ship fires? They start from cheap battery packs like this. Everything you hear in this video is bullshit, charging a battery pack to 260%? Exposing it to 300° temperatures? No.

I am so disappointed that the BYD blade battery is massively safe, will last for over one million kilometres and is a fraction of the price to run compared to any ICE vehicle. Who am I kidding. I LOVE my BYD.

Yeah. This channel looks sketch. I just checked out all their videos, and the first five videos are some very phone app reviews that have nothing in common with rest of the channel (a woman speaking a different language, vs the guy narrating these videos). Then one month ago starting to pump out these videos, primarily touting how amazing Chinese EV companies are. Looks very far from an objective source.

Yes your are right, the BLADE battery is disappointing!!! But you have not been able to explain it. Let me do it: If there is any bad cell in a big blade battery or any physical damage, there is no chance to repair it. Car owner must buy a complete new batterie. Therefore, such an unsuitable for repair battery is not to recommended! Don't buy these technology.

It is funny how no body compares the efficiency of these vehicles compared to an ICE vehicle. Or mentions the amount of pollution it creates to charge one of these vehicles on the grid and compare it to the amount of pollution an ICE vehicle creates. I am sure it would be about the same as driving a small 2 litre Diesel. So I don't see the point unless they are all charged with 100% renewables they will do absolutely nothing to save the environment whatso ever.

@@karenmajoros7522 They are not my opinions they are results done testing EV's and ICE vehicles. EV's have very little resale value compared to an ICE car as well. Time will tell this story. Unless battery technology rapidly advances and becomes cheaper these vehicles only serve the purpose of being driven in busy cosmopolitan area's, by fools who did no real research and know very little about physics.
