BYD has all the imagination what made a smart intelligent, safe, reliable, green, modern futuristic and lifestyle car at an affordable price. Others are still center around ice and ev as a mean of transportation and driving pleasure.
BYD are good cars and have good specs and features but they are currently struggling to sell in the UK. Monthly sales from 50 dealers of the range of 3 models amounts to less than 800 cars a month (16 per month or 4 per week approx). Cheap finance is being used to make monthly payments attractive but so far this has not made a huge impact. From January to August 2024 BYD registered just 3672 cars in the UK compared with MG/SAIC's 50,277.
Boring cars? 😂😂😂Nothing is more boring than a Toyota, period. And still lots of people in North America love its boringness. BYD is nothing boring comparing with Toyota.
@@MaticTheProto a car that lasts mean it has good resale value even if you don't want to drive it anymore and is real environmental friendly while phoney EVs aren't
Since Legacy brands are focussing on ICE cars my next car will be an EV. I have bought 11 new Fords over my 58 years on the planet but I see Ford is 20 years behind the world especially China. As a car enthusiest who has built ICE engines I know that no Human has invented an ICE engine of any kind that doesn't poison and kill us. I know BYD has has bad quality in the first few years but the quality has surpasses Legacy brands. 1/3 cars sold in the world was made in China.this is on track to reach 1/2 soon. Cybertruck outsold the F-150 for the first time in Fords 48 year streak. Legacy can't compete with cars 10 times cheaper to run, 7-10 times safer, with far better range for 1/2 the price, sometimes 1/3 the price. Legacy should be worried.
Currently Canada's importation tax on cars is quite low, around 6%, plus any provincial taxes. This does apply to cars from China as well. However China will likely in future to increase the importation tax because (1) the economy is poor and (2) it's leash is controlled by the US. BUY now if you want one !!!
I am staying with my BORING BYD especially after reading this. The Guardian reported that In Norway, which has the world's highest proportion of electric cars sales, there are between four and five times more fires in petrol and diesel cars. The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency found that the were 3.8 fires per 100,000 electric or Hybrid in 2022 compared with 68 fires per 100,000 cars when taking all fuel types into account. Australia's EV FireSafe found there was a 0.0012% chance of a passenger electric vehicle battery catching fire, compared with a 0.1% chance for internal combustion engine fire. The chance of survival in a EV is very high as the car smokes for quite sometime before it combusts which gives the occupants time to get out of the vehicle and clear the area. Gas and Diesel vehicles are highly combustible which gives the occupants far less time to exit the vehicle which makes far less safe as your EV counterparts
By this clip I can see you must get paid by BIG OIL. One day you might find out what a real car is. It doesn't matter how hard you push you won't STOP the EV Revolution.
For the first time in history, 🇧🇷 offers more interesting cars, including BYD, GWM EVs than 🇺🇸! Even a 🇧🇷 billionaire who is car lover and had the best cars (Ferraris, Mercedes Benz etc) in the country has bought a BYD Seal for himself.
BYD electric buses in the US terrible and nearly every project they win has major problems. From half the claimed range to every bus driving and acting just a little different.
America can ban import all electric cars or parts that contain from china or oversea so United state use pure US make it will great and no worries ,but I wonder US can make any EV ???
Too many channel call themselves global car news but only cover western market (can't blame them that their most viewers come from). I think can find your niche here by actually cover global car (not necessarily nev). Keep it up . Looking forward for next video .
