Premium fuel required for Acura. Kinda dampens any savings realized on trade, equity, and financing. Used to be slightly over regular in terms of cost, but now it’s gone absolutely insane. In upstate NY a buck or more a gallon over regular octane fuel. 😊Acura makes great vehicles, and I’m sure you guys will love it.
I had a brand new 22 MDX Tech in black and traded it after 6 months… great looking car and beautiful interior but I couldn’t stand the seats. They were just so uncomfortable almost like a “C” shape. Hopefully you guys enjoy it
Not sure if it was you but a subscriber did mention the seats being terribly uncomfortable. I felt they way with the A SPEC seats with the cloth inserts but I like the all leather ones much better. I guess time will tell.
Yes it was me. I hadn’t traded it at the time but I just couldn’t get comfortable. With the market the way it was I didn’t lose too bad on it, thankfully.
Great choice I have a 05 acura tl with 208,000 miles on it and she still purrs like a kitten they are built to last great reliability highly recommend an acura
@@DGYtown congratulations on the Tahoe, they are super sharp looking! Yes, I need to get back on the horse and crank out some more videos. Thanks for the support!
Very nice vehicle, Brian! I think your wife will love the new MDX technology. Honestly, I can't believe you're getting that much for the Bronco! Here in Minnesota.. the word around is the Bronco's are a bit overrated, so the deal you're doing sounds fantastic imo. Great colors on the MDX too! The quality is awesome on the Acuras. Congratulations!
Thanks Ron! Bronco prices have definitely dropped recently. We drove are lesser spec ‘21 for a whole year and made $6k on trade. Just 5 months later we barely got what we paid for the ‘22 but I am not complaining.
We just ordered our second bronco for my wife 😆. Ordered a race red base 2 door mod bumper aux switches and keyless entry. Mines a 4 door black diamond velocity blue.
@PIPSBURGH VIEWS its a pretty basic build but we're not in a hurry for it. My wife has a bronco sport and after I got mine she started hinting at getting one. We're gonna build it the way she wants it. Should be fun.
That’s a great spec right there. We actually an MDX, which is a little older then your 23. We have 2016 Acura MDX. It has 82,000 miles on it and it stills runs fine except for some weird issues we had. I don’t mean to scare you with that LOL
Glad you think so! It was either this or a used advance package but I couldn’t make the right deal on a used one. Surprised you had any issues with yours at all, they are usually problem free.
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS Yeah, however they were not too serious. All we have had to do on ours is change both front wheel bearings and its been through a few batteries as well. We had ours since 2018 and still going strong to this day.
We drove the Bronco back to back with a loaded Wrangler before we bought it. The Bronco was substantially better in pretty much every way except for maybe hard core off roading.
Hey PiPs, good move on your decision to bale on that Volvo. Since the brand was purchased by that Chinese conglomerate the build quality slash reliability rating has steadily declined. That MDX is a nice model but is basically car based with a much LOWER driving profile. So it will be an adjustment from the much more commanding view of the full size Bronco. By the way, the side MIRRORS on your new MDX really protrude. The crew over here noticed that in the lot line up. Does the "technology package" include motorized retractable mirrors ?!? If not, definitely a negative Yo ! 🚘🔍. 🤔
Thanks John! I was surprised she liked this on the best. Typically, she likes to sit up higher. I didn't really notice the mirrors but they do auto fold.
nice hope your wife enjoys it. good move with the bronco drama after that I dont think I would have bought it or even got a 2nd bronco. Cheers man hope you do well in the BMX nationals
I tend to make things way more difficult than they need to be. When it comes to our vehicles. I thought the new Pilot would have been a good option but we had not seen one in person and she didn’t like the looks of it in the pictures.
The best car right now is the 23 Toyota Sienna all-wheel-drive 25th anniversary it's an impossible car to buy and it's a very good car for families and cold weather
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS I got on the list 2.5 years ago. Plus my dealer is one of the tiny dealers that got lucky and an allocation. Very very lucky to have the car. ...I'm on the opposite coast if I was close I'd let your wife drive it. She's the only one I've seen that I know can drive. Lol
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS i have a 2012 accord coupe 165k miles runs like a dream...i've had it two years and so far the one and only problem i've had is the crank shaft sensor other than that runs like a champ, hope u enjoy this beautiful new ride
