The V2 missile was actually VERY effective but tactile misinformation from Britain said the missiles always missed and the Germans abandoned it.

It's not op. It's a skill weapon like the Battlefield 4 Tow missile. Since the Tow was a onehit i think Fliegerfaust should one hit planes too. It only makes sense that a single soldier has more power then a mobile Anti air *vehicle*. Some people really don't understand my humor i think....

I play medic 99% of the time. When I run out of ammo and pick up an mmg off the ground they feel like a BFG. I understand why kids lay in corners with them, I just don't understand how that's fun. And it's not an aberration, they are in every server by the dozen.
The Fliegerfaust has been THE best addition to the meta, it's so frustrating as a tank player to get one shotted by a 4000lb bomb by a 60-7 pilot all game, and with more assault players running AA, you are less likely to run into a wall of panzerfaust fire, bc there's FINALLY a good reason to not have it equipped by default. It just seems like the Fliegerfaust indirectly fixed a lot of the meta.
You are right, even gunfights are better beceuse the bomb spamming is pratically over. Now only GOOD PILOTS can make good score. No more 80-2 from noob pilotes farming infantaries
Aye. The good pilots still do alright and you have to tag team to take them down. The bomb and strafe runs are still happening but a lot less frequently now which is a good thing in my eyes. No more bomb spamming is great 🙂

Well one is a heavily armored vehicle meant to take damage, hence the term *Tank* . The other is pretty flimsy to adhere to aerodynamics, while also carrying a deadly payload. Think of it like a glass cannon.

@@lukaslipovsky340 the panzerfaust isn't a guaranteed kill. It takes a little work. The fliegerfaust anyone can use. Flak guns were enough. People just never use them.

At first the FF really got me mad because I am a pilot. But once you adapt and play around it, it's not annoying as they used to be. Even using the specialization that gives you 200 meters higher helps a lot those FF never hit.
I just started bf5 (because of the new update) I only played 1 game when I got it Every time I just get airborne I'm shot by that rocket spam thingy, its too overpowered and impossible to enjoy the game as a pilot compared to bf4, hardline and 1
@@tomasistok7229 Eh, that's debatable. Ever since they adjusted the flight mechanics, flying just seems so sluggish to me now. Plus they took away the 3rd person bombing reticle so now you have to take that into account when going for a dive, since smaller bombs seem to do very little damage unless they hit dead on. Now the bomber planes themselves do have a shit ton of ordinance, so aiming isn't as big of a deal in that regard. I digress. The planes have been pretty balanced for a while now, and I think the fliegerfaust is what sealed that deal, but I still think it is a bit heavy handed. One good volley and most planes are disabled which is a death sentence for most pilots. Plus they are pretty spammable thanks to how ammo works now. Any assault can just sit on a large ammo crate and get all their rockets back instantly. By the time they use them all, they are ready to resupply. In the older titles, ammo was a bit slower to come back, moreso for heatseekers and any other sort of anti air solution. All in all, the slower flight mechanics paired with the rapid speed and high damage of the Fliegerfaust is a pretty deadly combo. Not to mention the longer range of the AA emplacements. All of these counters heavioy discourage dive bombing, which is the main function of several planes in the game like the Stuka and Mosquito. You could argue that anyone who wants to bomb should just stick to the flight ceiling, but I'm fairly certain the stationary AA can hit those altitudes, if only barely
Imagine DICE updating and adding an assault rifle that fires HE rounds for the assault class that simply requires one to aim at the general direction of the target for kills, and you keep getting randomly insta-killed by them without even knowing anyone's there until you are dead, but there are still players telling you it's balanced and you just have to keep your distance.
That's what I've been thinking. I know that the Fliegerfaust has a lower range than the stationary AA, but the range is rather impressive nonetheless. Plus, as a soldier, at least you can't get disabled by one volley of this metaphorical god gun
@@elijakiger Soldiers also have respawn measured in seconds, whereas planes are much much longer. Dice has f'd over pilots in their games since BF3 started giving everyone heat seeking missiles.

Ever since switching over to PC from my 1X a week ago, I feel like I’ve had to relearn all my favorite weapons all over again. The meta is totally different!
..bro are you playing the same game? Rhe only thing that would dominate was attk/scout helios! This game just has planes which get kills...but not alot because it takes 5 mintues for a plane to spawn in and the fact that there are 20 AA's in the map..of course people like you would complain and get a stinger missile like onject in a WW2 game!. The FF wasnt even good in actual ww2 and the germans stopped using them
Its very good they added Fliegerfaust. First there is now more interaction between infantry and airplanes, which we missed before. Second it is very good against fighter planes, which were sometimes to good in games, so 1 plane could had totally air supriority, its has now more balance. Third.. I think its not that good against tanks, so some assault class players have a little bit les firepower against armored vehicles, which is good for balance.
They finally did some things right this time. The new japan map is great. The new weapons are all great with good knockdown power! The new fliegerfaust is great. That being said I feel a nerf coming in the future. It’s just too good to be true.
Maybe in a special mode but the Germans would just shit all over the British with the stg 44 mg 42 and mp 40 not to mention there isn’t a Japanese support weapon or American sniper yet
