Watch Byomkesh Bakshi's thirteenth episode 'Chiriya Ghar - Part'. Byomkesh Bakshi is a fictional detective in Bengali literature created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. He is one of the most successful and popular characters in Bengali literature.
Doordarshan now brings to you the entire series of this literary classic which was televised back in 1993 directed by the brilliant Basu Chatterjee. Actor Rajit Kapur played the role of Byomkesh Bakshi, for which he was highly praised. Ajit was played by K.K. Raina and Satyaboti was played by Sukanya Kulkarni who was the first actress to play the character.

@Rathod Jigar actually,acting was better in those days. Actors focussed on their performance. Studied their roles. There was no high tech special effects technology . Most of TV artists had a theatre background and theatre acting is the most difficult. Acting in front of a live audience. No opportunity for retakes .

जासूसी मैं रूचि रखने वाले लोगों के लिए व्योमकेश बख्सी बहुत ही अच्छा धारावाहिक है. मैंने इसकी सभी कड़ियाँ देखीं हैं. इस धाराबाहिक का विचार ( Sherlok Homes) से बहुत मिलता है. बस परिश्थितियों का फर्क हैं. इस तरह के और भी धारावाहिकों की जरूरत हैं. वर्तमान परिश्थितियों पर आधारित जासूसी कड़ियाँ चाहिए.

It cannot be said that. Because Sherlock Holmes came 50 years before Byomkesh. Moreover, Sharadindu Bandopadhyay was inspired by Sherlock's story and started writing Byomkesh's story in Bengali. So there is nothing wrong with calling Byomkesh Sherlock Holmes of Bengal and India.

मेरे बचपन का प्यारा धारावाहिक ब्योमकेश बक्शी इसके कलाकारों ने बहुत ही अच्छा अभिनय किया है ब्योमकेश बक्शी बने श्री रजत कपूर जी और अजीत कुमार बनर्जी बनी केके राणा जी दोनों बहुत ही बेहतरीन कलाकार हैं अब ऐसे बेहतरीन सीरियल कोई नहीं बनाता बासु चटर्जी का बहुत ही बेहतरीन निर्देशन है इस सीरियल में बरसों बाद फिर से देखकर बचपन की यादें ताजा हो जाती है

I repeatedly watch all these 35 episodes after 3-4 months from 2018.. everytime I watch these series I feel nostalgic. Reminds me my childhood. An example of great Team work. Each and every actor played their roles very nicely. (*Some actors acted very bad. Their acting skill is very poor, I felt that their acting was like just readingbthe script throwly). But over all these serials are the master piece of our industry. I can write over night about the series but no more today more when we watch again on 2030🕶️🤏

At 22:20, Ajit babu gives his idea, very thoughtful. For the first time he cracks something. :-) At 39:49 : Byomkesh makes a mistake. Lalsingh was got punishment of 14 yrs of imprisonnement as confirmed by the owner of the colony in the beginning but he says aajanma karavaas.:-)
