Better yet, just go all the way and make it a Constitutional Amendment that flat out bans the federal government from spending more money than it takes in, AND caps income tax rates at a reasonably low rate. Just take the damned check-book away from them once and for all!

I agree. No money sent to other countries. Help our own people. No money to long time charities here in the states either until the crooks are exposed and arrested. Then and only then can we truly help those in need. No more sticky government hands in the cookie jar.

They take taxpayer's money, without true consent of the people, and use that money to lobby government going through a private direct entrance to government because, in reality, they're PUT THERE by members of the government either directly or indirectly. Foreign aid is the same principal but buys the support of foreign countries in furthering their own policies. It's corruption that government believes it has made legitimate by allowing it. It needs to stop.
Bring the soldiers home where they belong. We wouldnt stand for other countries to have their military here so why do we think we should have bases all across the World? In America's case, normal is the contract between the individual and the state under a codified constitution, fought for by the people. It's the understanding that the relationship between the two parties recognise and uphold those rights and responsibilities without any attempt to deliberately undermine those rights and obligations. "Normal" under the American constitution was and still should be exactly that. The MUTUAL acceptance and following of those rights and responsibilities.

Byron Donalds is a great speaker, with facts, understanding, and wisdom. There are several senators and representatives who have great ideas and share them with us. Unfortunately, they can't do much because of the makeup of congress. We need to change that and elect more representatives and senators who will have the votes then to make changes we desperately need. Who doesn't want the border secure, fiscal responsibility in government, a strong economy and a healthy foreign policy? Returning spending to pre-covid levels would be good but that was still way too high. We need to drastically cut the size, scope, and cost of the federal government.

Thats right our representatives serve us the people. Under the Constitutional Republic that we live in and are guaranteed by the constitution, all representatives have to obey the will of the people and follow the constitution. Article IV section 4 is pretty clear about that and if you combined that with the tenth amendment, the individual citizen has more power and authority than the United States Government.
