Unfortunately, the fanbase seems to have increased during Carroll's era because we were winning and won a superbowl. The majority of the fanbase that I'm seeing are fair weather fans. It's ok to be critical of the team but if you got tickets, why wouldn't you go to the game? Lifelong 12's like myself that's never been to a home game would gladly attend, whether we win or lose.
Dee Williams growing up a Seahawks fan while growing up in Georgia shouldn’t be that big of a surprise because of his age. Lots of guys his age watched the LoB Super Bowl Seahawks team with Marshawn and Russ so I can see it. For a couple years there our team was the shit. Byron Murphy says the same thing and he grew up in Texas.
My confidence is at a 5 going into this game. For me it's 50/50. Atlanta's offense seems to be getting their stride and I'm not sure exactly how our defense will necessarily travel to this game. If our defense finally shows back up, I'll be more confident but we'll see on Sunday.
I saw today they signed Okada off the practice squad. He did a damn good job during the preseason so I’m excited to see if he can make a difference on defense
Man, I just roll my eyes as Lofa continues to scoff at the idea of moving DK. It reminds me of when people were so adamant about holding onto Gary Payton at all cost. The decision to move GP was a good one for the deal we got and the same can be true of the right deal for DK. We don't have the luxury to pay a RECEIVER 30 mil + a year. We have too many needs. I still see signs of immaturity on Metcalfs part, and resigning him to a block buster new deal is only going to add to his entitlement and negative behavior IMO.
I love Russ still but hea going to flourish in Pitt. He’ll absolutely flourish. The only thing thats going to stop him is the deep ball because its just not there anymore. I dont know if Warren, their rb2 is back or not but once he is the defense will need to hunker down to stop that rush. It should free Russ up for some nice throws and as long as the line can keep him upright this team can go a long way with him. Denver wanted to use him as a deep ball passer in a double high safety league and that just isn’t going to work anymore for most qbs. If Pitt can reel Russ in and get him throwing to short passes in the play action game I think this move will only be a good thing. Russ is just a more refined version of Fields. Dont everyone hop into the comments of videos after Wilson takes a loss either. Everyone loses a game and he’s just coming back from injury. Adjust him to the game, rev the engine a bit and he’ll slot into the qb1 role perfectly. Russ didn’t fall off, the league changed and he didn’t change along with it. We didn’t trade Russ away because he sucked, we traded him away because we needed cap space, and pieces to rebuild this team.
holmgren never ran shotgun so no it wasn't the same draw play, he probably ran his out of splitback and it was always to mack strong on 3rd and long. And i was always mad because he would never attempt to convert those 3rd and 15 and more.
need the Defense to be better always. The LOB set a high bar but that's the way to go if you get what I'm saying. Cause Denver has a defense there Offence is slowly getting better. But the defense keeps them in the game. Stop talking about trading DK in the season after 6 games give me a brake. We have some fair weather fans for sure and for some reason band wagon lol which I didn't think we ever had. We have some horrible fans lol.
@@chema4016 because two reasons he does not win high jump balls or catch good at high points like a Larry Fitz or Justin Jefferson or anyone in that case and two I don't want to pay a receiver who can't do that 3 yr 60 mill I never said he was the problem it's the two points I just made about him you got cross, walker, Geno, mafe, woolen and a few other contracts this off-season so who would you rather have all those guys or dk
