Second this! Death anims being off when playing makes sense but for casts they add a lot to the viewing experience.

For protoss to win: survive early game, anticipate every drops, don't loose any early stalker/probe, win every skirmish, don't loose any high value unit, surprise your opponent, don't make any micro mistake, dodge emp, etc... Otherwise instant death. For terran to win : don't run into storms/disruptors balls. Otherwise, turtle, you'll win later.

Jesus, I know fitting a Raven into a build order is hard, but at what point is an observer or a DT ruining your whole week or Lurkers walking up on a base and you needing to scan them 3 times to clear them out makes it worth it? I feel like the amount of scans and nasty surprises you can avoid by just having a single Raven is huge, even if you don’t use it too aggressively (cause honestly keeping them alive, even at the pro level seems to be pretty hard). Somebody explain this shit to me cause I’m just a scroob. What would you be giving up to have a Raven at like the 7 or 8 minute mark of like a relatively standard game?

Hey guys! I was thinking about some changes: Zerg - burrow is granting +2 armor for burrowed units - lurkers -20hp - ultras are able to walk through allied small units ( zergling, hydras,…) but still blocked by bigger units ( queens, lurkers,…) - abduction from the viper doesn’t work against big units as thors,battlecruisers,ultras,carriers,mothership,colossus ( therefore-10 energy cost) - extra upgrade for +1hp/sec reg for corrupters. Cost for upgrade 50min/175gas/45sec? Research in spire - extra upgrade for + 1 dmg for hydras against air ( 100/125/60sec) in hydra den Terran: - no mules anymore - + 10 hp/ +1 armor for SUV’s - Stim last 2 sec less and does 5 damage more. Increase of Attack- and movementspeed -15% - -combat shield upgrades takes 30 seconds longer but increases armor by 1 - Ghost emp just 75 damage flat on Protoss shields/ no revealing of dark templars - ghost snipe energy costs + 30 energy - No advanced ballistic upgrade for liberators - Widowmine single target damage reduced by 35 dmg - Extra armor upgrade for siegetanks, thors and battlecruisers + 2 armor. Research in armory ( 125/125/60 sec) - Extra upgrade for battlecruisers. + 2 damage/ - 10 sec for Yamato gun. Research in fusion core ( 75/150/45) - -1 weapon range for anti air attack of Vikings/ no extra dmg against mech units when landed. - Extra upgrade for + 1 building armor ( 50/100/50 sec) in engineering bay. Requirementfor neosteel armor upgrade Protoss: - zealots + 0.5 movementspeed - Charge upgrade costs 15/15 less and is granting -0.5 movementspeed less - Sentry’s + 10hp - Void rays + 20 shield and passive +3 dmg against heavy units. Losing prismatic alignment ability - Tempest + 1 movementspeed/+ 20% rotation speed - Warp prism + 20 shield - Mass recall + 2 radius field and is getting executed 1.5 sec quicker - + 1 movementspeed for high Templar and dark Templar - Dark Templar starting with shadow strike ability - Dark Templar building time + 10 seconds - Observers are built now in nexus but requires a robotic facility - Carrier’s Interceptors getting built automatically and don’t cost resources. Therefore carrier cost increases by 50/50. Impact ( without practical informations): ZvP: Ultras are better in combination with ling/hydra/bane. Lurkers are easier to zone with storms/disruptors .corrupters can easier recover from storms.vipers are less attractive against Protoss late game air. Therefore fungal +microbius +hydras are more interesting. High Templar are better in zoning. Dark Templars are more harder to get eliminated. TvZ: Lategame zerg has more options. Ultras are harder to deflect. Battlecruisers are an lategame option that is hard to fight ( fully upgraded). Straight up fights are harder for marines because of a less efficient stim. Same for early/ mid game marine-drops. Lategame is still good for Terran ( extra upgrades for heavy units and buildings. TvP: Dark Templar harder to chase. High Templar more likely to zone ghosts/ ghosts aren’t a hard counter for Protoss army. Zealots are more efficient in early game. Zoning colossus and disruptiors is harder. General: Terrans : has to play more carefully with their marine-drops. Army movement and commitments to fights has to get planned more careful. Still being strong, hindering other races on building up Lategame army is more important. Economy has to get defend more. Economic harassment is less cost efficient.No mules is a big impact but therefore suvs are more durable against run by. Against Zerg the ultras will be more of a problem, ghosts or not. But therefore marines and buildings as well as thors/ tanks and battlecruisers can be more tanky.against Protoss are some strategic adaptations needed like different unit compositions. Protoss: A lot of tiny changes. Result should be that there is more potential in micro management for certain units like templars and tempests. Some more flexibility in tactics and some adjustments that make the Protoss army more smoothly to play. Units in general by stats are often good enough but the army in general lacks the little bit of something to keep up with the other races. Now the observers are not blocking the queue to build battle units anymore or the recalled units have a better chance to escape. Dark Templars should be a costly and rare harassment tool that is a pain in the b… Zerg: Lurkers are less tanky against ability dmg like snipe/ storm or novas but almost the same against standard attacks ( if burrowed) Ultras are easier to combine/ include into the rest of the swarm. Viper abduction is not helpful against heavy hitters anymore. Corrupters can be more “long lasting” in skirmishes. For your info: I play every race so I’m not a fanboy of one specific. Maybe my thoughts are not perfect but in some ways worth to consider and has to proof itself in practice. Especially I’m not sure about time and costs for upgrades….

The shield upgrade for protoss need a rework. Should cost less and give more shield (let's say 10% shield for 1st upgrade for example). It would enhance units survivability in the early, mid, late game which is, in my opinion, the biggest problem for protoss.
