Thank you for this presentation. Can someone tell me just how many parishes the Genuine Orthodox Church has in total around the world, and are there any in Central Florida?

Why didn't the Eastern Romans take records like their western counterparts? This is a genuine question; I would love to know why.

Did anyone catch who the two authors recommended by the speaker at the end of the talk were. I think I caught Steven Runciman but couldn’t make out the name of the speaker’s second recommendation.

I greatly appreciate the talk and I shared it with a few people. That being said it is frustrating when I hear the speaker talk about how the turn Byzantine was used to describe the Roman empire 100 years after concert in Opel and how that is inaccurate, however, they continue to use that word to refer to what they said it should not refer to. There is no East or West Roman empire, it's just the Roman empire and any associated notion to include that referring to such as Byzantine I would suggest to you is more of something that tracks with narratives in Catholicism, not Orthodoxy or history supported by secular scholarship.
