I LOVE how disinterested Celine Dion is in show business. She just loves to sing, but the fame part is a chore to her and she just loves to be at home with her kids.

I thought I heard somewhere that when she did decide to record "My Heart Will Go On" that they wanted a quick demo. So she went to the studio and recorded a 1 take demo (ie. She just sang it once). When they played it for the Titanic soundtrack people they said, "we will use this". Celine's people then said that they would get her back into the studio to re-record her vocals & flesh out the instrumental track a bit. The soundtrack producers said, "No...we will use THIS". Celine's people tried to explain that it was just a one take demo with no studio enhancement & the instrumental track was not complete, but the soundtrack producers said they wanted that recording. So the version we hear of "My Heart Will Go On" is the one take demo with no enhancement & an incomplete instrumental track. May be an urban legend but if it's true...what a fucking voice.

I saw her in concert in Honolulu back in 2000. Her voice is just jaw dropping. Her ability to go from soft to a very strong belt is incredible. One of the best voices ever!!!!!

Celine will always be the TRUE diva for me, meaning she becomes one by her talent and just enough attitude without being too problematic, but more importantly, with class. She manages to maintain her career without any major scandals like any of the other “divas” out there.

I am French Canadian so I have "known her" since her very beginning and she has always been a little eccentric. I ran into her once in Québec city at Le Chateau Frontenac. I was taking a walk and I had my ferret with me. She had just done Titanic so she was uber famous already and when she saw my ferret, she ran up to me as if we were best friends, she pet my ferret and yelled to everyone: (in French) Wow! Isn't that cute! It's adorable! Oh my god!!!" and then, her big bodyguard pulled her away. She was with her late husband, René Angélil. It took me a while to realize WHO it actually was! lol

She's so damn quirky & charming! SHE'S the type of woman you should marry. Very endearing.

I honestly love Céline so much. Ever since my Mother brought me one of her CDs over 10 maybe even 15 years ago she has been my role model. Not only is she a phenomenal singer but also an unbelievably genuine and kind person. I really do hope that one day I can see and hear her sing live. I hope that she and her family get all the support and love from friends and family needed after losing their husband/father and brother/uncle... I am thankful that despite all that she still works on new music and does tv appearances etc. and it's amazing that she actually saw Ariana do that impression of her - so funny :'D

I've been a fan of Celine ever since her first album "Unison" and it really surprised me that she says she never really cared for show business and being famous and a well-known celebrity because she looks like she's really comfortable being in front of the cameras.
