Luc Plamondon who wrote the song said on a talk show that he wrote the song a long time before he find the perfect person to sing it because it is a really hard song to sing, then he found Céline....
Amazing video and I think the best ones are 2011-2012, next the 92 one and third would go to 2008/1999. I really liked the early 10s because her voice had matured but it was not as dark as it is now.
@@Supcharged the closed vowel 1999 ones all sound so weak and heady for no reason, ESPECIALLY the two directly after the two open vowels, aka “malgre” and “Lamour existe encooooore”
@@adamsamess2163 "maglre" was doing dynamics in mix on an Eb5 (unlike the borderline squeezed ones from later) while "encoooooore" was just like the studio version, that was technique wbk! The best closed vowels were from 1992 (minus encooooore), then olympia
@@Supcharged Dynamics bye... and I disagree, the 2001 closed vowels are probably the best... it’s also probably the most flawless performance bar the first Eb5, cause all the closed vowels are insane, the other two open Eb5s are insane, her tone is gorgeous and the G4s are the most resonant thing I’ve ever heard.

yes this song is very difficult..she sings with a lot of breast on this song until 2021 she made eb5 .. quite high note and at this moment when she has her passagio ... very complicated song sang in this way. ... other singer tried to do it and didn't do it that way ..

My guess is only one road too, since the FIY era track sounds more like 1994 than 1996. My guess is also Oxygene (to the studio version) since she omitted it from the olympia cd.
Ok, normally I’m decent with recognizing performances, but I’m unsure of most of these. What is the one after 1993? Also, I don’t know what any of them after 2002 are until the 2012 one where she fails all the F5 notes.
They're all Eb5s upto 2013 but I see what you mean. She usually goes raspy on the 'Au delà de la violence, Au delà de la deménce' but the Eb5s on 'Pour t'aimer une fois pour toutes Pour t'aimer coûte que coûte Malgré ce mal qui court' are usually crisp and clear
