Muchas gracias por los tips!! A mí me ha quedado grade A (201 puntos, por los pelos jajaja) y voy a explicar un poco mi experiencia a ver si ayuda a alguien en el futuro. 1. El UoE ha sido bastante fácil, nada como lo que hacía yo en clase, así que si apruebas los samples, seguro te quedará buena nota en esta parte. 2. Reading: yo sacaba 60%, o sea, bastante pelado, pero yo creo que los del examen son un poco más fáciles, no demasiado pero. Aconsejo que practiques las partes que más te cuesten y ya. 3. Writing: a mi, esta es la parte que peor me ha ido, pero igualmente me ha ido bien (193). Es muy importante que uses conectores, porque yo el día del examen me olvidé y pues pasa lo que pasa. También hay que decir que me tocó un email y como no lo había practicado, pues tocó escoger otra cosa💀 4. Listening: creo que es la parte que más estresa en general, porque si no lo pillas, la has cagado. En general, diría que ha sido bastante parecido a los samples, solo que, obviamente, con otros temas. 5. Speaking: no sé muy bien que decir, excepto que en la collaborative escuches muy bien a tu compañero para que no te pase como a mí y tengas que continuar su respuesta jaja. También tengo que admitir que tuve mucha suerte y a mi compañero le tocaron las difíciles (pobre jaja). Si he sacado un 204 habiendo dicho "es que" (💀) en medio del examen, tu también puedes jaja. Espero que mis consejos sirvan, que vaya bien!!!

No sé como repartirme las diferentes destrezas en los días de la semana. ¿Cómo lo hacías tú cuando te lo preparaste? Un día hacías por ejemplo reading and Uoe, otro día Listening, otro Writing... o cómo? Y otro problema que tengo es que no sé cómo aprender nuevo vocabulario, debo hacerme la clásica lista de vocabulario? I am preparing for C1 but I am having problems in the organization. I don't know how to divide the different skills into the days of the week. How did you do it when you prepared it? One day you did, for example, Reading and Uoe, another day Listening, another Writing... or what? And another problem I have is that I don't know how to learn new vocabulary, should I make the classic vocabulary list? ¡Qué buena dupla que hacen, realmente son insuperables! Los felicito por el tremendo trabajo en equipo, los vengo viendo hace tiempo y realmente lograron motivarme para dar el paso que me faltaba para afianzarme en inglés. Realmente es un idioma que no me gusta demasiado, es algo típico entre quienes aprendemos a valorar el excelente trabajo tanto de la Real Academia Española así como los innumerables escritores, ligüistas, profesores y demás que han ido puliendo nuestro bello lenguaje. Al encontrar las irregularidades del inglés, debo confesar que me generó un tremendo rechazo. Pero su difusión me hizo interesar en aprenderlo y lo que me faltaba, la MOTIVACIÓN, la encontré gracias a ustedes. Para mí representan un enorme esfuerzo que están haciendo miles de expertos para zanjar de una vez por todas esas particularidades que hacen tan odioso el estudio tradicional del inglés, y encima parten desde el inglés británico, con un humor y un enfoque que realmente le hace justicia al verdadero espíritu de esas tierras. Mr Bartlett encarna a la perfección el papel de londinense y creo que Isabel le ofrece el contrapunto necesario para forzarlo a ser más cálido, más simple y aprovechar su agudeza a favor de desentrañar las sutilezas de este peculiar lenguaje. Ahora no esperaba un enfoque tan agresivo, en el mejor de los sentidos, tan directo al punto al encarar el estudio de los exámenes. Excelente puesta en escena, la forma de presentar los ejemplos, de situarnos y tendernos las trampas (que en realidad nos tendemos los mismos estudiantes con nuestros errores) para corregir nuestros errores, es sencillamente brillante. Honestamente hasta me dan ganas de rendir estos exámenes simplemente por el placer de ver concretado su excelente trabajo como profes. Muchísimas gracias por lo que comparten aquí, recomendable a cualquiera que quiera ponerse en serio a mejorar su inglés o incluso a obtener titulaciones.
Hey gusy! to be honest, I couldn't figured it out, the answer to the question. Definitely checked it in the comments bellow but still have doubts. If you could just do a lesson on that C1-English-level structure, it'd be fantastic and quite useful. Thanks for all the tips mentioned throughout this lesson, they seem to be highly helpful.

Yo hice el listening tanto del b2 como c1 con auriculares y la diferencia con listenings de altavoz en un aula es brutal. Si teneis la opcion de encontrar un centro donde te lo hagan con auriculares (o esta opcion de hacerlo en un ordenador que no existia en mi epoca), lo recomiendo muchisimo! A mi me parecio mas facil el c1 que el b2 (aunque aprobe ambos con una A), supongo que para el c1 ya le habia quitado el miedo al haber pasado por ese tipo de examen antes o por el tipo de ejercicios que eran pero es el recuerdo que tengo.
A mí me pusieron el listening en una aula con mala acústica mientras todas las aulas tenían listenings al mismo tiempo. No escuché nada por el ruido y me bajaron puntos injustamente jajaja

I wish you would have made this video like two months earlier. I had to learn all those things you mentioned by making a lot of mistakes, especially with the negative words in the word transformation part. Luckily, those mistakes were done during practice and, on test day, I was ready for it; and I rocked in the use of English part. Everything you said is completely true, I experienced everything during the process. In the end, I got a C1 grade B (I cried when I got my grade). I felt really proud because I made a huge leap. After I had taken the PET, I did not take the B2 First. I just dove into the C1 Advanced. It was something crazy.

You're both fantastic!!! Yo soy profe de inglés medio Irlandesa medio Lleidatana, lo he especificado porque el hecho de ser bilingüe hace especialmente para mi muy interesante vuestras clases. Ya que muy poca gente, aunque poco a poco más gente, se involucra en la diferencia de lenguas y cultura. No es sólo enseñar "Inglés" sino mostrar claramente las diferencias y con humor!!! Así que bravo!!!! Yo no tengo canal de youtube, lo cual me parece fantástico por vuestra parte, pero es curioso porque desde que empecé a enseñar inglés juego con humor, y sobretodo a romper con las barreras del miedecito e inseguridad al hablar bien y con acento! How has it been? I am planning to get my C1 certificate this year. I got my B2 certificate on June and I would like to know if it is really difficult to pass from this level to C1, I am taking an intense course on summer and if it goes as expected, I will be taking the exam by the end of the year. I got B1 and B2 in one year each, so I would like to know if it was too fast to finally get into C1, thanks for reading!
