as a combat veteran from desert strom/shield... i am doing a research of how our family came to america for the BOOK OF LIFE (The Trail of Secret War) from Laos started in 1960 to 1979; the folks you need to interview are the air america, ravens, classified project 404, waterpump, and the macv sog, these are just some for your future videos or maybe your already and/or working on it as post production.

Hello Lancesay, I just recently have become acquainted with several Ravens. I am hoping they will allow me to interview them. What amazing and courageous pilots they are.

Darrel, thanks for the note; we love hearing from guys like you. We have a bunch of NKP videos coming up. Just came back from the NKP reunion in Charleston and am producing them as fast as possible. Hope you enjoy the interviews.

I know the man on the aircraft y’all are talking about at around 11:25 former SOG Recon man who was assigned to NKP Captain David Carr! He said the pucker factor was so bad he almost sucked himself inside out lol

NKP was my duty station from 1967 - 1969. I was a crew chief in the 609th ACS/SOS on the A-26. After my first year I was extended for six months twice. NKP was good duty and 12 hour days 6 to 7 days a week was common depending on what was going on "across the fence."

Great interview guys. I was at Invert from August of 1970 to August 1971. We had an advantage at Invert as we tracked all the aircraft out of NKP, plus everyone else over Laos, so we had a better overview of what was going on. Amazing how many of us from such a small base have run into each other over the years.
