In late January/early February 2023, we're getting the very rare opportunity to observe a comet in our skies, C/2022 E3 (ZTF). Discovered by the Zwicky Transient Facility in March of 2022, this long period comet only swings by earth once every 50,000 years, and will only be visible for a few short weeks. Join me as we do some HyperStar EAA with the Celestron Evolution 8. No polar alignment, wedges, or extra complexity needed. We're taking a new ASI Air Mini for a spin, and it's a wonderful mini computer that allows me to stay indoors, and drive the telescope indoors (where it's warm) from my iPad.
