minimise breakage , be more gentle , finger detangle with leave in conditioner don’t comb especially dry , massage with hot oil before you wash it , keep it in protective styles and you should be good gang. be patient and consistent don’t be keeping it in hairstyles for way too long or combing it bc you feel lazy to finger detangle.
