I owned this on cassette tape when it dropped on the shelves of Modesto California's Wherehouse Music sto back in 93......I repaired it multiple times with scotch tape from bumping the whole album non-stop cruising the McHenry strip & beyond.....every song was a banger & I turned many on the streets of the 209 onto Cowboy...Liqor Sto became our anthem for the parties we'd throw out in the orchards of the west side. I had my own Punjabi owned liquor sto friends that would sell me at 15 years old cases of 40s, MD 20/20 , Boone's Farm, etc, for the parties.....good times in tha 209 early 90s @@
One of the most underrated rap legends of all time. Classic album in every sense of the word. This shit is ridiculous!! Makes me feel old, had this album for over 20 yrs. now
Goddamn I love early 90.s gangsta shit. Hands down the best shit. 1989-1995 were the best years for rap as far as my interests are concerned. Of course I like shit before and after but this "golden era" has all my favorite shit
This is what you call real rap shit, ain't no track wasters .Back when the titles of the song was the whole song. Even 2pac told the outlaws that C-BO WAS HI FAVOURITE RAPER ,and he's the one that he want them to sound like

For those who are too young to really know or who missed it completely.... When this brotha dropped a album it felt like he sold 3mil copies(yall dont know what thats like either) like a major industry artist, but he did it independently only selling a couple hundred thousand. It felt like multi millions because EVERYBODY was playing his whole album.
if yall like this album ya'll needa peep out Gelo's Havin It My Way album! Produced entirely by Mosley & Bostic (just like this) so it's got the EXACT same funky bass beats and Gelo's flow is rugged just like Bo's. He's even got a song on there with Bo that's knoccin! Yall gotta check it.
Goddamn this classic album brings back so many memories. We use to slap this around Portland in my 84' Buick Regal during the summer of 94'! It's crazy how shit has changed in the music game...
@@Buugzy You're trippin, those other Rappers are Dope but Tupac is Way Better than all of them. C-BO might come close but the other three are nowhere near Pac's level son. 2PAC IS THE GREATEST
