C&C Cage Superbuild! 

New layout looks great! ❤️🤩 I really try not to have favourites but I think Pipsqueak has won a place in my heart. He reminds me so much of my late Rocky who was also a blind & head tilt Aby yet still was so fun loving & energetic! 🐹❤️

Scotty, you're hysterical! I couldn't believe when I saw the comment on the screen about you kissing the pigs, I was laughing, lol, lol!! Whenever I see you picking up the piggies and immediately start kissing them, I think that you must be a very affectionate person, because I am, and as soon as I pick up one of my piggies, I kiss them! The cage setup looks perfect, what a guy you are, stupendous! I absolutely love Pipsqueak, he's perfect just the way he is, and did you see Gari raise his chin when you asked him if he wanted you to pet him there? Remarkable guinea pig alert!! Scotty, did you get my message about the Nails t shirt? If you have any left, I want to buy one. I love Nate, he looks like a really laid back, nice piggy! I love them all, they're all gorgeous! The setup looks awesome, the piggies look awesome, and you are truly blessed!!

Great job, love the set up. Lofts are great, they provide extra room for the piggies without taking up more of your own space and they also provide a darker, quieter area where they can relax, hide or get away from a cage mate.

B-fore u said somthng about big piggies, I was lookn & thnkn that he is like the width of ur chest...he is so cuute ...good daddy. I love thm all. I started watching when Billy lost the weight & was not well. So I thnk I just got so into Billy, he just kind of struck me. Do you think they understand kisses? Bc I give mine kisses all the time. And I think he attempts to do it back. Not exactly pucker his lips. But I know he just smells himself on my mouth, then put his face on mine.

The new cages are awesome! I had a piglet that preferred his loft..spent most of his time up there, except to eat hay and pellets below. My other little guy couldn’t get used to the ramp and would stretch his body just to reach the loft 🤣 he also learned to push his treat ball up the ramp so he could lay at the bottom and collect his treats 😑 totally defeated the purpose of the ball hahaha. I think lofts are a great way for them to get exercise. ♥️

I put food on top and hidies on the bottom or vice verse. Lots of built in exercise. I agree with having some kind of quick release or hinged wall if you have a large overhanging loft. My antisocial pigs figured out quickly to press to the back of the cage under the overhang and laugh at me while tried to reach them.

So for about a two and a half months I have been doing a lot of research to prepare for when I am able to get Guinea Pigs, but the down side is where I live there are no available shelters or rescues that have small animals. My only option is to buy from a pet store or go on Craigslist and wait to find a bonded pair but I haven’t recently seen anyone rehoming guinea pigs. I really have no idea what to do I know if there are other options buying Guinea-Pigs from pet stores should be avoided at all times. So this is why I am troubled because I was hoping since I had the money now I could try and get them soon.

piggy update for anyone who wants to know! i let my boys have floor time as long as they want as long as im in my room. Caramel kicked Billi out of his cage, and now Billi is in Caramels cage eating his food. Yesterday Caramel was zooming around my room popcorning and everything and it was great. He's not tamed yet, but im hoping this will help! >u

I wonder if I should put a loft for my three Guinea pig girls. I'd probably have to do 2 ramps so they can enter and exit without a problem. You are so sweet to your Guinea pigs. Do you have a video about the difference of cuy Guinea pigs?

Very amazing and creative job on the enclosures! If I were you I'd print business cards calling myself "guinea pig home constructor and interior designer". I think they're all very happy. And yes, I am a little concerned that Gari might try and jump off his balcony to get to the other piggies. Pipsqueak is so adorable when he's checking out his balcony and then complains cause the fleece tunnel isn't exactly where he wants it to be. :) That moment when Nate is coming up the ramp and when he peeks up over the balcony floor... sigh... my heart is melting. I had to rewind that part and stop the video just to took at him a little longer. :)

I just got my c&c cage yesterday for my girls I'm quite short so I used grids to build the stand for it to go on so j can reach the back part easier and I am loving the c&c unlike other cages I can add to it and this video just gave me some ideas for there cage.

I absolutely love Billy!! He is so big and fluffy! I think my Buddy might be part Cuy because he is quite large and very easily gains weight.

That was a brilliant idea. It's brighter and lighter. Easier to reach and clean. You don't have to take apart the whole 2nd level like before. I like it alot. And you can see the piggies better too. Great job Scotty!

I've been watching your videos for about a week now...very informative definitely need to educate myself on taking care of guinea's. Some years ago I had a piggy her name was shelby and to be honest I had no knowledge of how to take care of her only what petco told me, long story short she died and I couldn't understand why I thought I was doing everything right I cried for like days. I am glad I stumbled upon your videos I am now preparing and looking into getting 2 girls. I'm super ecstatic and thanks to your videos I now have that knowledge thank you and God bless ❤ your piggies are beautiful☺

Maybe you should have named him Smoochie instead of Billy. Love your cage designs. Get coroplast this weekend and was going to do 2x6 with a 2x4 on top but thinking now that two 1x2’s at each end will be better. And I can divide 2x6 if I need and still reach my girls. Thanks

Hey Scott and babies, Just want to say I use www.guineapigcagesstore.com/ for all my coroplast and different shapes of c&c panels. I have 2 females, Maggie and Luci, I am a bit lazy and have OCD so I like having neat coroplast. Then I have my Mom make me fleece liners for the coroplast.. I also line in between the coroplast and the fleece, with wee pads so that the coroplast doesn't stain or need to be cleaned.. I also...lol have a separate liner for the bedding so that they make most the mess in their "kitchen" area so the fleece stays clean till I wash on Saturday's.. hope this helps someone.. PS if you have any questions Sue is sooooo helpful tell her Suzette sent you 😉😁

Hi Scott. I know this is unrelated, but, I am looking for any second opinions I can get. I have a 10 month old abyssinian, named Whiskey. I've had her for 8 months. (she has 2 cage mates but she's under quarantine right now) She recently, 2 weeks ago came down with a URI. Of course went right to the vet and got meds. Now 2 weeks later nothing has improved, its gotten worse. Back to the vet, and they said she may have pneumonia. More antibiotics, but she won't take them willingly, we force her. (very odd for her, she usually wants ANYTHING edible) she's not eating her veggies, or pellets. She only eats a tiny tiny bit of hay a day. A few days ago she was eating her critical care food willingly but now we have to force it down her throat. I'm very worried, any advice?
