There are many disorders which affect hunger and food relationship not just ED. He just seems to lack the desire for food and the typical response of hunger. It appears to be more of a combination of things from an outsider perspective but we don't know his daily life so we have no right to judge or comment on his eating habits as it has the chance to be damaging for many people especially Dawn himself. But it is nice to see that people care at least.

Hi all, your all actually correct. I want to say thank you for opening the floor for discussion in such a humane manner, it’s because of the kindness I’m sharing the below🥹 I was born & bred in a foodie fam, me included. Few years ago I started paying more attention to what I eat, as I’m getting older (30) I’m a wife & mummy (2 teens). After my dad passed away I don’t think I grieved properly & then got busy with life. I realised I was loosing weight without trying to, tired 24/7 etc after cooking dinner if feel less hungry & therefore ate less. I went to doctors to be careful & he said “Your young, your very healthy & it’s just stress” I then went to another specialist to find out I developed a eating disorder caused by - STRESS (obviously high levels of stress & pressure can lead to depression) He did a laparoscopy & that lead to bigger surgery, I came out of theatre with a feeding tube (PEG Tube). End result - All organs took severe strain thankfully non had failed, plan was to put water & special supplements through feeding tube machine set to 5ml per hour. As my stomach had shrunk & wanted to bulk me up too. The only thing that had saved my life was - The little bit of healthy body fat🙏I’ve been on a 3 year journey not knowing if I’m going to live, my teens are also young carers bless them ♥️ & we had to accept the fact in result of looking healthy, norm, great on the outside things onside were burning out & we don’t know if I’ll survive. I was referred to a Hospice & have been on full bed rest so I don’t burn any calories/fat. I do receive end of life care as the issue is so complex (there’s so many types of eating disorders & each patient is diff as we all have different things we stress about so care/treatment is extremely tailored to each individual). I’m still fighting from my bedroom bed, with my entire med team & of course husband & children. I’ve not been stuck in bed for 3 years to give up, I can’t do that to my kids. I wish I got help when I 1st went to doctors, but I’m just thankful we went to see a diff one as if we didn’t I wouldn’t even be here today. Not all eating disorders have a name either. I was the lady that’d keep saying to myself “ohh I’m fine, it’s ok” When really I was struggling to come to terms with the the loss of my dad & sadly now my teens have to watch me cheering me on to keep fighting, but knowing “High chance mummy will pass away” That’s just our brutal truth, but I’m thankful I’ve got the chance to try🙏🥺 Just always remember to be kind to people because no matter how, ‘Perfect & Happy’ they may look on the outside, on the inside things can be the absolute opposite & worse. Don’t be the person that makes the person fighting for life want to give up🙏 Sending ♥️ to all. Look after yourselves & don’t be embarrassed to go doctors & say “No, I’am not ok & need help!” These subjects shouldn’t be such a taboo esp in 2024. Also no E.D is cured fast, it takes years even those whom are still able to continue living life - have the challenge to remember 24/7 must hit all dietary requirements before it spirals out of control, without making others feel uncomfortable. Hope this makes sense.

yeah I heard the stomach and body adapts to the person's eating habit, so he should be fine. He will probably get sick if he forces himself to eat more than he usually does.
I’m the same way but it’s still not healthy. Overeating and not showing physical signs of an eating is the same thing. You require food for energy which helps to boost your metabolism and protein production. Overtime his body will deteriorate because he’s lacking calories, vitamins, and protein.
I used to be like him, no energy, tired and feeling so lifeless, aside from external factors, not eating regularly is one reason. I took vitamins and supplements to stimulate my appetite and my eating habits totally changed & improved. Multivitamins that will stimulate his appetite will help him a lot.
I'm similar. I saw a doctor about it and she said that some people are "grazers" and we don't require much food to keep us going. So as long as Dawn is healthy in his own way and his labs are fine, it's alright. Please stop assuming he has an eating disorder. If he was seriously sick, his friends and family would be getting him help and not letting him go on TV to show his lifestyle. Leave Dawn alone, please.
ngl i got used to eating little food and i just eat here and there but i do eat a medium sized breakfast so i don't really eat during the day till it gets to 6 pm or 9 cause most of the time i just drink
Anyone can tell he has an eating disorder which is very sad to see 😢I hope their family as well the people around him help him to look for actual help instead of putting him on a show where they made it seems that nothing its wrong MENTAL HEALTH IS VERY IMPORTANT!
Ok but I have also forgotten to feed myself on several occasions due to lack of appetite 😅 I just thought it was a normal thing for my generation and people close to it 😭
I see so much of myself in Dawn. It's sad to see the lack of motivation to eat. I do that a lot, I don't typically eat full meals or the considered 3 meals a day. I am lucky to get 1 full meal a day.... I'm just glad that he is doing okay and is well
I'm the same and I still don't know why it's like that. Got any clue? I'm currently underweight and end up losing 1-2 kgs ever so often due to no motivation
too much ghrelin (appetite stimulating hormone) is a problem but too less is also a problem, maybe he should look into supplements to increase appetite ❤❤ stay healthy Dawn!!

I dont eat breakfast..lunch (but sometimes i eat, but when i eat lunch,i dont eat Dinner).. But still i'm very chubby😅..i dont like eat rice,chicken,fish😅
Since Dawn's new album came out I started to really relate to him and his songs. I use to think that he's weird, because of his piercings, but I discovered through his songs that he's actually a nor guy with issues like people who isn't famous. Issues like hearbreak and doesn't feel like getting up and facing the day. That is why I love him
While I agree the dog is underweight, the problem isn't that he doesn't feed the dog. Dogs can replicate owner personalities, so since Dawn doesn't really eat, the dog won't either. I really hope they are actually okay; physically and mentally. While I try not to jump to conclusions about Dawn, Haetnim being boney is making me worried. Boney is not of his dog breed. 😢

First time watching Dawn, can someone tell me who he is ? He has a beautiful voice…! Why are people saying things about his diet? I am just curious, I don’t mean any trouble. He seems so sweet. His demeanor reminds me of Yesung from Super Junior ( who doesn’t seem overly crazy about food and is body conscious ..Yesung had stomach issues in the past so I don’t know anything about Dawn but I hope he is ok )…thank you for any information! 😊
He is a singer . He used to be in a kpop group but now he is a solo artist . You should check out his songs. His voice is really nice.. his name is E dawn. I think about diet, its just strange seeing him eat so less . Usually people love food and he is opposite. He eats less than girls on diet so it makes us concerning. And kpop idols are known for strict and dangerous diets and some of them then suffer from ed or other disorders .

@@Teaandlilacs89 no problem. Another reason can be that idols practice and shedule is really hectic and they are physically really active which usually make people more hungry.. well if he is healthy that's all that matters and he know himself more than us.
I'm quite the same as him. Don't have much interest to food. I also chew very slow like him. And chewing slowly can make you full faste, so I can't finish my food unless I force myself cause I hate leftovers & wasting food. I only feel hungry when I don't have breakfast. I also don't usually eat snack. I'm skinny and have frail looking body. But I'm pretty healthy. Never had any health issues. I only get sick once or twice a year. I just don't gain weight.
