Every Worldbuilder I know has learned everything on their own. You can watch other people making their maps, but there isn't a tutorial yet. It's like art - everybody has their own style. You can read the Worldbuilder Manual, It can be found on cncLabs

If you don't know how to use the editor, I'm sure there are plenty videos on RU-vid, teaching the basics of terrain, unit, and resource placement. If you do, then I would suggest you play around with the editor, first. See, if making maps is for you. And when you realise you want to get serious with map making, practise making skirmish maps. It should give you an idea of how to balance your scenarios, for when you do start making them.

It´s a great hobby and I would be happy to see you as my next epic map creator on my channel featuring one of your maps. I have a couple of map making tutorials on my other cncHD channel. If you go to the playlists on my other Channel you will see a worldbuilder playlist. The Playlist sadly only covers the tipp of the iceberg. There is also a tutorial on the web about how to make these super astouning waterfalls which we saw in this video. I think this tutorial is on the same website where you can find this map (see the link in the video description). There is also a worldbuilder discord with many mapper legends in there who are happy to help you with any questions you have + the discord channel has tons of tutorials and tipps and tricks discord.gg/tJ6zyGb
