C&C Generals: Rise of the Reds - Comparing Heroes

Rise of the Reds or ROTR for short is a massive mod for Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour.
The mod adds 2 brand new factions, the frontal breakthrough focused Russian Federation and the defense-oriented European Continental Alliance or ECA for short.
The mod also vastly revamps the original factions, giving them new units, buildings, upgrades, and more!
Other improvements include a focus on army diversity, a new 2-tier tech system, amphibious capabilities, and more!
Today we will be comparing each faction's heroes. These infantry are specialized elite soldiers that can alter the outcome of any battle.
We will be covering their training aspects, weapons, abilities, speed, combat, and more!
I plan on doing more of these for other General's Mods and more units from ROTR.

For those curious why Jamell can't depilot: It is the new lore from RoTR. (Setting decades after Zero Hour event) Jamell loses half of his hand during crafting an improvised weapon accident. So he can't shoot with perfect accuracy likes he did and change his weapon to Dragunov for fast-firing instead.

@@ashipthattriestobotheryou4759 depilot is gone, and won't come back. It will get damage Vs vehicles, and a small area of effect, making it more efficient against mobs and tight groups

Jaeger is really broken in terms of abilities. His building sabotage has a bug where it can still affect your buildings on a new game when you quit a match where Jaeger sabotaged the HQ

that's a bug with the game engine, originally it happened with power supply, (you couldn't generate any power if your power supply were disabled while quitting)

Sounds like saboteur unit from GLA. Had this problem that my power always low but closing the game and restart the app fix it.

I don't think ROTR US planes have point defense lasers like vanilla Air Force general planes if that is what you meant. It will probably come back in patch 2.0 when the mod have specific generals added.

Back in the day when ECA was relatively weak and new, I was the sole reason that they made an emergency patch to allow you to sell buildings still when sabotaged by Frank. Map was a 3v3 on DEFCON 6. Opposite of me was another ECA and I got my Frank into his base and stole all his money. in a fit of rage that I bankrupted him, he rage quits. Well, when you quit, one of your allies gets your whole base and I ended up stealing all their money next and they rage quit like the first guy. Repeat the process again and the third guy had to give up for the same reason. The one time when I single handedly toppled 3 opponents with 1 unit.

Ah, yeah, its apparent that the mod was made before we all have seen the real Russian army in Ukraine. Honestly it's not that suprising that most of their units are just old stuff. Remove the scifi units like Tesla's, berkuts and SU-50 femboys, and super tanks, and you've got a pretty realistic russian faction

Oh yeah, the "real russian army". That one that forces Ukraine to do constant mobilization (cuz their guys die too fast) and ask for weapons and funding (cuz it all gets destroyed)? Ukraine had one of the most numerous and capable armies in all of Europe before the invasion, now it has to forcefully capture random guys on the streets. Pentagon officials say that 80% of Russian army resources weren't even involved yet. Russians don't need to mobilize, they don't need to do fast moves, cuz Russia's goal is to just drag the conflict for as long as possible cuz this war fucks with world's economy. That's why this it's is horrible, all the human suffering comes down to numbers and money. As always.

How about a guide on how to use each nation in RoTR, I keep seeing gameplay on youtube but haven't seen yet a guide on how to use each nation, their pros and cons, and how good they would be in a realistic pvp scenario.

Jaeger’s ability is incredibly busted. Especially since he can do that undetected. In a team game I played, he literally siphoned money from us discreetly.

At least the audio mishap means either Boris or the MiGs must have jammed the enemy's coms and radars, allowing those MiGs to swoop in for the kill... And are those really MiGs?! They seem to look like Yakolev Yaks Trainer Jets And if only they would have anti-pilot sniper rifles or weapons, all the better- I love sniping out vehicle pilots, especially those Construction Dozers...
