A vocal coach reactor once said “DK’s voice leaves his body and enters mine” and I’ve not found a better expression to explain what his voice feels like. He’s one of my favorite vocalists from the industry.

This definitely was and still is seungkwan's best vocal demonstration ever. The emotion? Resonance? Song choice? Could not have done a more flawless job honestly. We miss you Kwannie, get better soon!
exactly! this song sits perfectly in his range and demonstrated all of his strengths!! despite being the main vocalist and singing a lot, he (as well as the other vocalists and seventeen) doesn’t get a ton of opportunities to shine like this considering the fact that he’s in a group, they need even like distribution, and not all songs sit perfectly in all the members ranges, etc. i really hope he gets to do something like this again and show off his near perfect vocal technique, masterful resonance, and poignant emotions. :)
I am constantly stunned when I listen to him sing. This is absurd. I haven’t heard such consistently resonant notes…it’s wild. His mastery over his mixed register has to be among the best in not just the kpop industry but the entire world. Each of his belts are resonant…he belted a crap ton in this song. Insane performance. It’s like his voice just explodes out of his body
@@scars5505 U GET IT!!!! EXACTLY!!! not only is his mastery of resonance incredible but while being able to do that and simultaneously deliver such poignant emotions to the song (or any song he sings) is so impressive. this performance is so emotion eliciting it never fails to leave me in tears.
As a non-Korean, Seungkwan’s delivery of that song pulled my heartstrings. His delivery was flawless and honestly made me a little teary-eyed. Please release ballad album and release more OSTs ❤

I pray to God that DK of Seventeen aka Dokyeom of Seventeen aka Lee Seokmin will get his recognition of his beautiful voice when the time is right. He's famous but chances are not that many for him. When the time is right, he will be more famous for his talent. I hope he will get more drama OSTs, star in musicals, and have successful solo ❤
He is one of my favourite male vocalists in kpop. I honestly started stanning seventeen after hearing dk sing and he's my ult bias since then. He's very versatile too as a vocalist which is what I really like, apart from how beautiful and Soothing his vocals sound.

seungkwan's vocals was so captivating... even though you can't see his facial expressions, his body language told us exactly what he felt like. a true performer right there
although i dont really understand korean much but the moment Seungkwan started singing i could feel each and every emotion that he wanted to convey through the song. There's no other vocalist of his gen that has come close to Seungkwan's vocal performance of Forsake! It's a masterclass! The quality, technique, the emotions, the performance it's just perfect.
BSS's vocals are really so good. First of all the main vocalists dk and Seungkwan, then there's the main dancer hoshi whose voice is also like the main vocalist like boy can dance so well and still hit those stable notes. Here especially Seungkwan nailed it. His voice with those high notes is just too good.
to think that seungkwan was barely 20 when the show aired and dk too was only 19. they were really promising rookies. & hoshi was there when svt in their 3rd year already, really proved that he's also one of the best vocalists in svt not only for dance
O hope more people could praise DK, he did amazing despite the fact he went to the show in 2016 when he was still a rookie and made it to round 3. I bet that if he goes now he would blow our minds with his vocals 😊❤❤❤❤❤

Seungkwanie's vocals are so underrated. But believe me he's the bestest vocalist in kpop. Dk is really good but there is something about kwan's voice which is so heartwarming. And also that's so impressive how hoshi sang like a main vocal. Hoshi's voice is really unique, his voice is one of my favourite in Seventeen.
Love these 3 so much. But very honestly, and that may be my Boo-biased heart speaking, but no one can convey emotions through songs like Seungkwan. The way he goes beyond singing just the words but also sings the very emotions behind those words, its just so remarkable, that too when he was 21 here (20 in international age). He is such an incredible little tangerine, love him beyond words can describe ❤❤❤

seungkwans voice is one of the most emotional, powerful, and unique voices i’ve heard in my life time. he genuinely needs to be praised more! i feel as though dokyeom is praised and acknowledged a lot as a singer, as he should he’s amazing, whereas seungkwan is still stuck being the funny entertainment god of seventeen. i will genuinely not rest until he’s acknowledged as one of the best vocalists of this generation.
Dk was only 19 when he participated on this show, he was a rookie (2016, svt debuted on 2015) and he made it to round 3, imagine if he participates again these years ??!

if you are a carat you would recognize them all easily by their voices, however, a genuine carat even if it was mute and knew it was a member of Svt you would recognize Boo by his body and hand gesture, Hoshi by his clothes and fashion, and Dk always put his right hand on his chest when he's singing
seungkwans performance will never not move me to tears. his ability to capture all emotions in his voice in deliver them poignantly to the audience is incredible. i’ve NEVER seen anyone deliver emotions like he does. don’t even get me started on his chest voice and the full sound of his voice and his ability to resonate up to ABSURD heights. he’s truly incredible and i will never miss out on an opportunity to gush about his vocal technique. truly the best vocalist of his generation. :) i really hope he gets to demonstrate his voice like this more in the future.

Seungkwan's choice of song, his vocals, the tone, how he convey the message of the song, his emotions are there even since he started singing the first verse. Indeed, it is captivating how Seungkwan deliver us the song, IT WAS SO SO GREAT. THEY ARE A GREAT SINGERS! As well as to HOSHI and DK's performance, they are so great.

Seungkwan putting a lot of emotions in that song. He’s indeed the main vocal, and his dedication in his craft is really admirable. The fact that he already sings well but promised to even work harder proves how humble and committed he is. Hoshi proving he is not just a great dancer but a good singer too! He even showed a special talent and danced What is Love from my favorite GG- TWICE. Hoshi is really a total performer and I love how extra he always is! I bet his mom is just joking when she said that Hoshi is not good looking. He’s really charming!! Dokyeom also put a lot of emotions in this song. Though I don’t understand korean language, I want to close my eyes because of the emotions I felt while he was singing. I couldn’t be more proud of how much he has grown over the past years. I want to cry again. will patiently waiting for seungkwan solo debut one day so everyone and more people know he is one of the top vocalist out there. cuz most of svt songs really hides his beautiful and powerful vocal. truthfully im surprised how people just noticed how difficult and hard seungkwan's part is in svt songs after other members covered his parts when he's absence. his voice and vocal technique are really insane. for me the only vocalists that I love and noticed who easily control and change their voices are chen & seungkwan!
DK's voice my God. He makes everything interesting. He is really talented yet still underappreciated.He can make people cry, smile or frustrated with just his voice. He is soooo angelic yet sometimes has demonic growls. Perfect delivery, perfect talent. Boo's and Hoshi's were also sooo beautiful. BSS are just perfect.

OMG it's been so long! Boo's performance made me teary-eyed again hearing it after a while, and that faint almost crying voice he had at the end of the song was really heart-breaking to hear. 💔 My boy really expressed such emotions through the song, and skillfully done too, uri main vocal Boo Seungkwan 🥰 Hoshi is such a joy to watch. I can't not smile whenever I see him on screen, he's sooo adorable even with his face being covered here. 🥰 I mean, he IS the perfo team leader so there's no surprise he can be that good. 😍 DK's voice is sooo clear and soothing, he definitely killed it here with all his vocal techniques. I was a bit disappointed with that performance because I know there's more to his voice if he chose a different song, Idk of he was playing safe or he is still a bit timid about his performance, but he still did great. ❤ Imagine, he was so young back then and they were still rookies! As a baby Carat, I knew Boo is a great singer, but I didn't realize he's so much better than I expected. Respect!!! Hoshi is such a dork and very multi-talented! @@ashikieee he's multi-talented. prolly why ppl always tend to forget how good of a singer he is. i see this happening a lot with those in variety shows. they're getting more known for being such entertaining hosts, but as time passes, audience tend to forget about their roots. kinda like Mijoo being an idol (tho thank goodness for Hangout with Yoo, she was given the opp to show her idol side), and Jihyo being a great actress.
