C-C REACTS TO WOLF WINTERS - THE VOICE OF AUSTRALIA
Due to popular demand after my last reaction to Wolf Winters I have decided to react to the amazing cover song, STOP THE TRAIN, written by John Mayer's and performed here by the elusive artist that still intrigues, mystifies and captivates audiences around the world with his incredible voice. Enjoy.
##I have written to the management company asking what is happening since his debut performance and rise to international popularity on the Voice Australia and I am waiting word.
It was his incredible rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's 'The Sound Of Silence' that compelled Guy Sebastian to turn his chair, despite already having a full team. Yes, it was breaking the rules. But for Guy, it was a risk worth taking.
"I'd say my voice is fairly unique," acknowledged Wolf. "I don't know how it ended up this way. It just did," he said backstage at his Blind Audition.
There is an inexplicable quality to Wolf's voice, but it's not something he's been training for. "My biological parents lived really difficult lives. They had numerous issues," Wolf revealed of his challenging start to life.
Wolf said he spent a lot of his childhood being silenced. And it's not something he's willing to do anymore. "I suppose music was like a beacon of hope for me," he explained.
"The older I got, the more I realized it's something that can pull you from that darkness, from those terrible times, to create something new."
Wolf admitted stepping onto the Voice stage was one of the most challenging, but most important, things he's done. "I've always been in the dark, because after all these years, I never let anyone hear me, the true me.
"Now, I think I'm ready.
