14:10 - Barry Corbin yelling "HOGWASH! You're a vital part of this team, Lieutenant!" in his Texas accent, at Athena Massey is my favorite part of these video clips.
My favorite General is Gen. Carvell (Played by Barry Corbin). A Texas native, casted in Northern Exposure, One Tree Hill, The Ranch & Yellowstone had appearances in both Dallas stints. The first Dallas he played a sheriff and the new Dallas stint, he played a lawyer that read J.R. Ewing's will.
@@jafnizainuddin6613 the goal of Op: Time Shift, ot was traveling back in time to the beggining of the Soviet Invasion with information for Einstein of that time about Yuris operations. Returning to the beggining, Carville was still alive, knowing the Crazy Ivan attack on Pentagon to avoid it. So, he got saved in the end.
when they say two time line is merging, it was a great opportunity to set up a crossover between Tiberium Series and RA series in 17:04 this really could have been Kane, since the guy was the director for all these cutscenes.
I know this is a 5 year comment and I may not get a response… but does anyone know what happened to Kane in the Red Alert universe? Supposedly the Soviet ending leads to the Tiberium Series since Kane was pulling the strings behind Stalin… but the Allied ending is canon so… did Kane get killed in the Red Alert timeline?
@@trevinodude high chance it is, without kane, the brotherhood will fall apart, and will be easy prey for Allied and Soviet, or die as a whole because no leader. Kane prolly die during the final assault on kremlin
@@aimanasyraf5657 Seems like the most logical guess. It would also explain why Kane never did anything about the constant time travel to repeat WWIII over and over in this series.
@@aimanasyraf5657 nah, my assumption is that he is still pulling things behind the scenes, I imagine in the Yuri timeline, him and Kabal are working mess up Yuri but good.
Watching these endings,i see why this frenchise was so well loved and its fall (and it latest title,of which no one wants to talk about) feels more tragic.
***** There are branching missions in RA2? when was that...than again...i hardly played with allies, only soviets, so my memory could have failed me for this.
I beat both sides, although Allies just for the story. Soviets, I beat on all levels. Because Soviet's kickass. So no, it is a mission that needs to be completed. No branching story lines.
At that time, those companies were already making lot of waves. It was one of those hunches that turned out to be a goldmine had you been one of their investors then.
"Massivesoft" and Chairman "Bing" huh.....interesting choice of name for the Chairman, since Bing didn't become a thing at Microsoft until 2009, a full 8 years after RA2: YR was released.
Because the Chronosphere, the big one that could have sent the forces back, is located on a tiny island off Florida. The Dominators that did fire turned all the friendly forces around it into Yuri's. Cut off from it, Einstein had to create a new time device to circumvent the Dominators' activations. The also wasn't any point in trying to build a whole new Chronoshpere because the main one is located in the perfect spot that makes it so powerful and would take too long. Yuri would have gotten control of the main one before a new one was finished. All other Chronoshperes are tactical devices; local battlefield range only.
7:54-8:30 So, this is Yuri having taken control of Hollywood? "Empty your mind and submit..." "The less you know, the better off you will be..." Doesn't seem too different from regular Hollywood production!
Yuri came closer to world domination than most people could dream even dream about. But he was outsmarted by Doc Einstein, who, years before the first war was developing his time travel technology. It seems he improved on the design a bit.
You got one thing wrong, that Einstein who created RA1 universe was an unique one, his timeline is seperate from other RA timelines, when he erased Hitler, he got pushed back to his own timeline, so he had no way to know what happened in that new timeline he created, that's why in RA1, there was no time machine. The RA2 time machine was a different one from before, this machine literally change the timeline, because it can merge both the new and the old one together after the major change was done.
*Red Alert 3 destroyed Red Alert 1 as well, since it was focused around the Chronosphere too. So technically, Einstein could not stop Hitler from forming the Third Reich, and they should have been in Red Alert 3.*
Yuri 15:50 Listen to me, you will obey...They: you behave or there will be no DESERT tonight....I am Yuri and you will obey .... Hahaha (medvěde pod dekou)
Red Alert 2 is the best i am a big fan of allied forces and specially yuri the mind controller XD Who loves yuri i mean who miss yuri cause his gone :(
I feel sorry for the Commander. At the end, he has to make a very tough choice: go on the date with his field op or his intel officer, both every fine women
the timeline where Tanya and Eva left behind are used in my Mega-crossover project to be Anunnaki's target practice where it exist in the Omniverse for the same reason whatever we forgot still remembered in our brains/minds
lmao one of those psychic machines is just sitting next to the pyramids, one of the biggest tourist attractions and strategic locations and no one investigates it?
8:50 "Chairman Bing, the trillionnaire CEO of the Massivesoft Corporation based in Seattle Washington". LOL. I'm writing this from the Microsoft Seattle campus. The buildings have some resemblance. Most of the buildings here are around 3-4 stories high and are H shaped.
I'm laughing so hard at this, aside for how it is so obviously a not-realistic-at-all commercially teenage-oriented game and the cutscenes and blah blah blah whatever, that's EA standards I won't argue over that ... I laugh at how the whole intro scene is identical to the vanilla game: Soviet threatens Allies, President chit-chats friendly with the Soviet leader, fails, then he talks agressively, orders the attack, the attack fails, and the Soviet plan takes place. All of this while the President is mad and the soviet leader is relaxed as hell. The dejavù ... geeeeeez!
17:23 - Lieutenant Eva Lee was very "covered up" during her cutscenes unlike many other ladies of Red Alert. Then she comes out like this 😮🥵. Also featured - The best Tanya...by far.
if tanya and the intel officer went back in time, does that mean there are two of tanya and two of the intel officer now? ooh, i shouldn't have told you that
Until the timeline merge, yes. Interestingly, as far as I know, RA1 and 3 didn't feature timeline merges, which implies that Red Alert canon has three concurrent timelines: the unmodified one (ours), the Allied YR ending timeline, and the RA3 timeline.
It's funny you say that, though, because when I was young I didn't realize that was Eva with her hair down at the end; I thought it was supposed to be a second Tanya. She looked so different lol
